JoSAA choice filling वह process है जिसमें candidate IIT, NIT, IIEST Shibpur, IIIT और Other-GFTI programmes को अपनी preference के अनुसार arrange करता है। Seat allotment candidate की rank, category, quota, choice order और seat availability के आधार पर होता है।

JoSAA choice filling में सबसे बड़ी गलती क्या है?

सबसे बड़ी गलती है बिना strategy के random choices भरना। कई students friend की list copy करते हैं, सिर्फ CSE भरते हैं, safe choices नहीं रखते या पिछले साल cutoff को guarantee मान लेते हैं।

JoSAA choice filling में कितनी choices भरनी चाहिए?

Choices की fixed number सभी candidates के लिए same नहीं होती। Candidate को अपनी rank, category, quota और acceptability के हिसाब से aspirational, realistic और safe choices की balanced list बनानी चाहिए। बहुत कम choices भरना risky हो सकता है।

JoSAA में safe, realistic और aspirational choices क्या होती हैं?

Aspirational choices dream options होते हैं, जिनका cutoff candidate की rank से थोड़ा better हो सकता है। Realistic choices rank range के आसपास options होते हैं। Safe choices lower-risk backup options होते हैं, जो no allotment risk कम करते हैं।

Home State quota JoSAA choice filling में क्यों important है?

NIT admission में Home State quota candidate को अपने state के NIT में advantage दे सकता है, subject to official rules and seat availability. इसलिए Home State NIT options को choice list में carefully place करना चाहिए।

IIT lower branch लेना बेहतर है या NIT top branch?

इसका fixed answer नहीं है। IIT lower branch उन students के लिए suitable हो सकती है जो IIT ecosystem और brand को value देते हैं और branch flexible हैं। NIT top branch उन students के लिए better हो सकती है जिनका clear technical interest CSE, ECE, AI या IT में है।

JoSAA mock allotment के बाद क्या change करना चाहिए?

Previous year opening and closing rank useful reference है, लेकिन guarantee नहीं। Cutoff हर साल seat matrix, branch demand, category movement, candidate preference और other factors से बदल सकता है।

क्या GFTI choices भरनी चाहिए?

अगर candidate की rank borderline है या NIT/IIIT options uncertain हैं, तो selected GFTIs को ignore नहीं करना चाहिए। GFTIs safe और practical backup options बन सकते हैं, लेकिन institute, branch, fees और location देखकर ही choices भरें।

नहीं। Last moment random filling बहुत risky है। Choice list deadline से कम से कम 48 hours पहले draft करके parent और student दोनों को review कर लेना चाहिए।
