Telangana State LAWCET 2020

Telangana State LAWCET 2020 Application Form has been released on 6th March 2020. Osmania University, Hyderabad will conduct the Telangana State LAWCET 2020 examination on the behalf of Telangana State Council of Higher Education. It is a state level entrance test meant to provide admission. Telangana State LAWCET 2020 exam is meant for a purpose to provide admission in three year and five year UG law courses every year. Various colleges in Telangana state grant admission in law courses on the basis of Telangana State LAWCET 2020 scores. Telangana State LAWCET 2020 is conducted by Osmania University on behalf of Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) which came into existence in 1918, and it is the seventh oldest University of India. From past 80 years the faculties sustained and give it best to the country. Telangana State LAWCET 2020: Syllabus

The Telangana State LAWCET 2020 syllabus comprises of the topics that the candidates have already read upto 12th standard. The questions are based on the quotient of the student of 12th class. To answer the questions efficiently it is advised to read the daily newspaper, magazines and listen to the news regularly to keep updated.

Mental Ability: Patterns, syllogisms, logical sequences, analogies, completing arguments, drawing well-supported conclusions, applying principles or rules, structure of relationships, logical conclusions in context of structures, deductive reasoning from a set of statements.

General Knowledge &Current Affairs: Indian & World History, Geography, Greatest, Smallest, highest of different things, Indian National Movements, Environment, Indian Culture, Constitution, Legal System, Treaties, Science and Technology, International Organisations, etc

Aptitude for Study of Law: Study of law; Legal Awareness covering Constitutional Law and Polity; Syllogism, Analogy, Logical Analysis, Research Aptitude; Problem solving ability.

Questions will be based on legal proposition and a set of facts provided to which they have to prompt to solve the problem

Eligibility Criteria Telangana State LAWCET 2020:

For being eligible to appear for Telangana State LAWCET 2020, Aspirants are required to meet the following minimum eligibility criteria.

Educational Qualification for 3 years LLB:

  • A candidate must possess a graduation from a recognized institute.
  • The minimum percentage of marks is 45% at the level of graduation (40% for SC/ST category)
  • English is a must up to 12th
  • Candidates who are appearing for the final year graduation examinations are also eligible to apply for LAT 2020.

Educational Qualification for 5 years LLB:

  • A candidate must passed his 12th standard from a recognized board i.e. CBSE/ISC/ or equivalent recognized board.
  • The minimum percentage of marks is 45% at the level of graduation (40% for SC/ST category)
  • English is a must up to 12th
  • Candidates who are appearing for the final year 12th standard examinations are also eligible to apply for TS Telangana State LAWCET 2020.

 

How to fill Telangana State LAWCET 2020 Application Form:

The application form for Telangana State LAWCET 2020 must be filled carefully by all the candidates. The first step to apply is to make the payment by visiting the official website. After paying the candidates can further proceed for filling the application form with details like the name, father’s name, education qualification, percentage of marks attained in previous exams, years of experience, etc. There is no chance to alter or edit the details in the application form once submitted. The students must have a passport size photograph and sample of signature in the form of scanned copies. Students have to upload these to the official website with application form. A chance of reviewing application form is also there before final submission.

 

Telangana State LAWCET 2020: Application Fee

The Application fee is different at Osmania University as per the social category of the candidates. The application for different category is mentioned below

INR 800 for General Category Students

INR 500 for SC/ST Category Students

 

Telangana State LAWCET 2020: Admit Card

Aspirants can download their Hall ticket cum admit card from the official website. There is no provision for sending the Admit card via post/e-mail in Telangana State LAWCET 2020.The admit card issued to those aspirants only who have completed the process of Application i.e. filling in the details and paying the application fee to the exam conducting body. To download the admit card students must enter the credentials and passwords provided to them at the time of filling the application form. Students must check the complete detailing mentioned in the admit card and take few copies for the future references as well.

 

Telangana State LAWCET 2020: Result

The result declared is in the form of score card. The students can first download and then take a few print outs of the result. The result card must be brought by the students at the time of counselling and admission sessions. There is no provision of sending the results via post/e-mail. The students can check their result in the official website of the exam conducting body. The result is viable only for a particular session and is accepted for LLB and integrated LLB course in many of the colleges in the state.
