Madhya Pradesh NEET PG Counselling 2026 Reservation Policy

Madhya Pradesh uses a vertical reservation by category and horizontal reservation by class. The table below lists the percentages for PG admission.

CategoryReservation
SC16% (all colleges)
ST20% (all colleges)
OBC14% (all colleges)
EWS10% (government colleges only)
Women33% horizontal (all courses, all colleges)

  • Horizontal reservation: Women and Divyang seats cut across categories. If no eligible registered candidate is available for a class in the Mop-Up round, those seats become available to the registered candidates of the relevant category.
  • MBBS-only classes: Freedom fighter, soldier and government school student reservations apply to MBBS and BDS only. They do not apply to PG seats.

Unfilled reserved seats in the Mop-Up round

Seats go in this order:

  • ST seats go to SC candidates.
  • SC seats go to ST candidates.
  • Remaining SC/ST seats go to OBC candidates.
