Odisha NEET PG Counselling 2026 Quotas
Odisha has a different structure from many states. State counselling covers State Quota seats in government colleges and every seat in three private colleges. The sections below explain each part.
All India Quota (AIQ)
MCC conducts AIQ counselling, and the Odisha schedule follows MCC and Supreme Court directions. A candidate who holds a seat at the end of the second round, in AIQ or State Quota, cannot take part in later AIQ or State counselling. The number of AIQ seats in Odisha and the AIQ percentage have not been announced.
State Quota
The Convenor’s committee conducts State Quota counselling for government medical colleges. The courses include MD/MS, Post-MBBS Diploma, Post-Diploma DNB and Post-MBBS DNB.
- State seats are shared equally between in-service and direct candidates (50:50).
- State Quota Diploma seats are only for candidates in regular service.
Private medical colleges
All seats, including management quota seats, in the three private colleges are filled through this counselling. There is no reservation in management quota seats. They belong to the Unreserved (UR) category.
Other categories: NRI, minority and institutional quotas have not been mentioned for this counselling.

| Service Type | Weightage per Year |
