Understanding Document Verification and Discrepancy Resolution

After you complete registration and pay the fee, ACPC’s verifying officers review your uploaded documents. Most candidates overlook this phase, which can create problems later. Here is what you need to know:

If verification is pending: Simply wait. Do not upload random documents unless the officer specifically asks. Do not make any other applications. Verification will be completed before 12.06.2026.

If a query/discrepancy is raised by the officer: Log in to your portal, go to your respective application and click on query redressal system in the side bar. Then click on submit your query and meticulously study what the officer has said, and identify the problem accurately and upload the required document. The system prompts you to choose the category from a drop down (options: correction for category, TFW requests, board exam details, GUJCET details, JEE(Main) details, etc.).

After submitting a query, a unique token number is generated. Save this token number. Use “View Query Status” under the Query Redressal System to track the resolution. Queries are typically resolved within 14 working days. Once resolved, the status changes from “Pending” to “Closed.”

If you entered wrong details or missed filling something: Use the Query Redressal or modification request option, attach proper proof, and submit. Corrections can be requested for board exam details, seat number, result-related details, GUJCET/JEE(Main) details, TFWS details, and category details such as SC, ST, EWS, ESM, SEBC, and PH.

One important thing to remember: never re-register if a query is raised. Always respond within the same application using the query/discrepancy option.

How Merit List and Choice Filling Works

After the completion of registration,ACPClearnestly prepares the merit list by using qualifying examination marks and entrance test (GUJCET/JEE Main) marks and publishes the merit list. Candidates have to check their merit number and category in registration details after the publication of the merit list.

Mock Round: The first round of choice filling is only a practice session. In this round you have an idea where you stand in the merit list and which of your preferences can be converted into seats in final round. You will add some choices to your previously filed choices on basis of mock round and also can shuffle the college branch priority. Don’t ignore mock round, missing this opportunity could be costly.

Actual Choice Filling (Round 1 onwards): Fill the maximum possible number of choices to increase your chances of getting a seat. Prioritize your preferred college-branch combinations based on your rank, past year closing ranks, and personal interest. Do not leave choices unfilled just because you are unsure, more choices always work in your favour.

Choices are filled online through the ACPC portal. Once the allotment round closes, ACPC assigns seats based on merit and submitted preferences. If allotted a seat, you must pay the token tuition fee online and generate your admission letter within the given window, failing to do so forfeits your seat.

ACPC Counselling for NRI/OCI/FN/CIWGC Candidates
