Delhi CET 2021

Delhi CET 2021 is conducted by the Department of Training and Technical Education (DTTE) for the students seeking admissions in Engineering and Non-Engineering diploma courses being offered by Polytechnic Institutes in Delhi. The Delhi CET 2021 also gives opportunity to the students for one year certification course in WCSC (World Class Skill Centre). This year the Delhi CET 2021 will be conducted on 08th and 09th June, 2021. The Delhi CET 2021 also provides admission entry in full time diploma engineering programs. The polytechnics institutes in India provide 85% seats for the permanent residents of Delhi and 15% seats are allotted to the candidates outside Delhi.

Syllabus for Delhi CET 2021

Delhi CET 2021 syllabus is slightly different from other tests that have been specified as per 10th and 12th standard. It includes questions significantly from the spheres of Physics, Chemistry, Maths, English and Biology.
Test 1(For Diploma Courses Engg/Non Engg): This test mainly consists from the subjects i.e. Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology. The level of questions is of 9th and 10th standard.
Test 2 (Modern Office Practice English/ Hindi (12th based):
This test is basically for checking the logical ability so the questions are based on current affairs, news, logical and analytical ability to solve any problem, English language upto the grade 12th
Test 3 (Modern Office Practice-Hindi) (12th based): This test include questions related to current issues, basics of Hindi Grammar, logical and analytical questions to test the problem solving ability in a student.
Test 4 (Pharmacy (12th based): This test mainly consists from the subjects i.e. Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology. The level of questions is of 9th and 10th standard.
Test 5 Lateral entry of ITI/10+2(Vocational Stream): This test contains question of physics, mathematics, and chemistry of 10th, 11th and 12th standard.

Delhi CET 2021: Exam Centres

Candidates have an option to choose exam centres according to their convenience during the registration process which is to be held at various polytechnic institutes at Delhi.

Delhi CET 2021: Eligibility Criteria:

Test 1 (For Diploma Courses Engg/Non Engg i.e. Engineering/Technology based Diploma & Occupational Courses)

  • The applicant must have completed 10th standard from recognised boards of India i.e. CBSE, ISC or equivalent with 35% marks in total subjects included in percentage is Science, Mathematics, and English.
  • The applicants for this test must have compulsory subjects i.e. Science, Mathematics, and English and he should have passed in each one of the subjects.

 
Test 2 (Modern Office Practice English/ Hindi (12th based): (i) Diploma Course in Modern Office Practice-English and (ii) Certification course of one-year duration in Hospitality Operations, Retail Services, Financial Executive in World Class Skill Centre (WCSC).

  • The applicant must have passed his/her 12th standard exam with minimum of 45% in case of general category and 40% in case of SC/ST. The aggregate of the percentage of marks is basically aggregate of the best three subjects including English
  • English subject is a must subject for Modern Office Practice (English).

 
Test-3: Diploma course in Modern Office Practice-Hindi

  • The applicant must have passed 12th standard from the CBSE, ISC or equivalent and recognised board of India. The minimum percentage of marks is 45% for General category and 40% for SC/ST category. The percentage of the marks is the inclusion of the best three subjects including Hindi/ Sanskrit
  • Hindi/Sanskrit is a subject for the students opting for Modern Office Practice (Hindi)

 
 Test 4 (Pharmacy (12th based)

  • Diploma course in Pharmacy and

(ii) Certification course of one-year duration in Software Testing Assistant in World Class Skill Centre (WCSC).

  • The applicant must have passed his 12th standard by any of the recognised boards of India i.e. CBSE/ISC/ other recognised boards of India
  • Candidates who have scored minimum of 45% marks for general category and 40% marks for SC/ST category. The aggregate of the percentage include Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Mathematics.

 
Test 5 Lateral entry of ITI/10+2 (Vocational Stream) i.e. Lateral entries against 10% supernumerary seats in analogous diploma courses

  • The applicant must have passed 12th Vocational Engineering stream with 60% marks aggregate in best 5 subjects from Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) or equivalent board

OR

  • Passed 10th from CBSE or equivalent along with two years ITI (Engg.) from it is/ITCs with minimum 60% marks in aggregate
How to Delhi CET 2021 Application Form

The application is filled by the number of students who want to take up engineering and non-engineering courses as per their choice.

  • The students can fill the application form by going to the official website of Delhi CET 2021
  • There is no other way to fill the Application form.
  • Delhi CET 2021 Application Form has been released on the official website on 31st March 2021.
  • Error rectification in the form can be made from 4th week of April, 2021.
  • Aspirants have to fill the personal details, residence details with academic qualifications.
  • The applicant must upload his passport size photograph and his signature for which the file size should not exceed 100 Kb
  • After uploading it the applicant click the submit button and he would get the application number which he had to note down for future references.
  • After this there is an option of payment of application fee
  • An applicant can choose online or offline mode for paying the application fee.
  • Finally the applicant must check all the details provided by him is up to the mark or not, if not he can change the things before final submission of the application form
  • The last date for the submission of the filled-in application form is till the 3rd week of April 2021.
Application Fee Delhi CET 2021:
  • Candidates must pay application fee of Rs. 400 + Bank charges.
  • Candidates can pay the application fee in both the modes i.e. Online as well as Offline. The online method would be used either by debit/credit card or in offline mode a student can deposit the challan to the bank to the corporation Bank.

 
Delhi CET 2021: Admit Card
The registered candidates can download their Delhi CET 2021 admit card from the official website.

  • The web address for Delhi CET 2021 is http://cetdelhiexam.nic.in
  • Candidates must have to enter their Registration Number and date of birth for getting admit card.
  • The admit card is expected to be available in the 3rd week of May 2021.
  • Delhi CET 2021 admit card will contain important information about candidate’s name, father name, address, date of exam, venue of the exam and other important instructions.
  • Candidates must bring admit card on the day of exam otherwise authority will not allow to sit for the examination.

Delhi CET 2021 Result:

The result of the Delhi CET 2021 will be declared on 21st June, 2021. Students can check the result on the official website by entering general details which were entered at the time of Registration.

  • Visit the official website of Delhi CET 2021.
  • After that Click on the link of “Delhi CET 2021
  • Enter the required credentials i.e. Roll number, date of birth.
  • Delhi CET 2021 will be redirected on the screen.
  • Go through the result and download it.
  • A student must take several printouts of the same for future reference.

Delhi CET 2021 Counselling/Admission:
The Counselling or Admission process of Delhi CET 2021 will start from the second week of June 2021 after the results announcement. Only those candidates will be called for the counselling process who will be shortlisted in the merit list successfully. The complete counselling schedule will be published on the website.
During the counselling process, document verification and seat allotment will be done. Candidates have to get their required documents or testimonials verified and pay the admission fee. Also students have to state course and college choice. Seats will be allotted to the candidates in various participating institutions.
