The last date of registration of UPTAC in 2026 is 15 June 2026. Based on the official timetable issued by AKTU on 23 May 2026, the registration process for UPTAC 2026 B.Tech counseling started at 25 May 2026 on the website https://uptac.samarth.edu.in and concluded on 15 June 2026. It has been clearly communicated by AKTU that this is the only time to register and in no Round 2, 3 or 4 can you register for UPTAC 2026 counseling, even if your rank in JEE Main is higher than others.

After the 15 June last date, the portal moved to the document verification phase (28 May – 20 June 2026) for already-registered candidates. Choice filling then opened on 22 June 2026, a window available only to those who had completed registration and fee payment by 15 June.
Candidates who missed the 15 June deadline have one remaining option, Special Round registration. Special Round 1 Phase 2 registration runs from 18 to 21 July 2026, and Special Round 2 registration runs from 27 to 28 July 2026. However, these are open only to candidates who are eligible (not previously allotted a seat that they did not withdraw from) and require a separate Rs.20,000 fee. OSGE candidates can also register during Special Rounds.
Why the last date is non-negotiable
AKTU has made it unambiguous, no late registration, no mercy window, no exceptions. Candidates who miss the 15 June deadline because of document issues, exam result delays, or technical problems cannot seek representation. The sole responsibility for timely registration lies with the candidate.
The registration fee of ₹1,000 was payable online via Card, Net Banking, NEFT/RTGS, or UPI. APAAR ID verification through DigiLocker must be done before registration process on the portal.
