How to Check Allotment Result and What to Do Next

Step 1 – Check result: Login to uptac.samarth.edu.in on the allotment day or after. You can view the allotment status showing your allotted college and branch in the dashboard.

Step 2 – Download Allotment Letter: Download and take a print out of the allotment letter shown on your dashboard, which will be needed at the time of physical reporting.

Step 3 – Pay Seat Confirmation Fee: Pay the 20,000 (12,000 for government college, if applicable) fee before the allotted last date. For regular rounds the deadline is within 2 days from the time of allotment and in the special rounds the same is 20,000 and it is non refundable.

Step 4 – Choose freeze or float: Before the deadline, select either freeze (seat confirmed) or float (current seat confirmed, but an attempt will be made for upgrading to a better college/branch in the next round). Auto freeze will occur automatically after the 4th round of allotment, candidates do not have to make their own choice.

Step 5 – Physical Reporting: Physical reporting for all freeze candidates will be to the allotted institute within 14-16 July 2026 (regular rounds), 27-28 July 2026 (Special round 1), 31 July – 3 August 2026 (Special round 2) along with the original certificates.

What happens if there is no seat allotment: If no allotment is available (if there is no seat as per the choice list entered, rank, category), you will have to re-enter your choice list and participate in the next round of counselling. Fill more choices for private colleges and less competitive branches in the next round.

What happens after 4th round allotment: This round 4 is auto freeze, and based on choices locked after 3rd round, the candidate is allotted best available option. For the regular round candidates, physical reporting will be the next step.
