Counselling process for VITEEE 2021

All the students who have appeared and cleared VITEEE 2021 will be called for the counseling session for the allotment of seats according to their score.

Following is the counselling process for VITEEE 2021:

    •    The university will be conducting a single window counselling process for all the 4 campuses of VIT University which are Vellore, Chennai, Bhopal, and Amravati. Therefore, the students can go at any of the above listed campus for the counselling process.

    •    There is no issue regarding the absent students as the qualified number of candidates will be kept more than the seats available in the University Campus.

    •    The admission process of VIT University is completely dependent upon all India rank scored by the student in the entrance exam conducted by the University and the seats available in the university, other than that nothing else is noticeable for the admission.

    •    The candidates do not need to worry about the details regarding the admissions because every candidate will be contacted for providing information regarding the branches for undergraduate engineering courses and the total number of seats available in the respective branches during the counselling sessions.

    •    All the candidates should note that they will be allotted seats according to the availability of seats in the university.

    •    All the candidates are suggested to check the official website of VIT University from time to time so that they do not miss any important announcement made by the officials.
•    All the candidates should know that if they are not able to present before the admission committee during the counselling session on a particular date for any reason then his or her seat will be given to other deserving candidates.

    •    If there is an emergency during the day of the counseling session and the candidate has informed the counselling official a day before then the university may give him or her a chance for seat allotment after the payment of counselling fee and that too only if the reason is valid.

    •    All the students should note that the fees for counselling session is rupees 10000 and it is a non-refundable amount. Therefore, even if the candidate wishes to opt out then his or her counselling fee will not be refunded. However, this will be further added to the tuition fee of all the candidates who have taken admission.

    •    After the applicant is successful in his counselling process and has confirmed to the seat allotted to him or her they will be required to submit a DD of rupees 50,000 in the favor of VIT University which will be payable at Vellore. This demand draft will include the counselling fee of rupees 12,000.

Submission of documents

Before reporting for the VIT counselling 2021 session all the candidates should make sure that they have all the required documents without which they won’t be allowed to sit for a counselling session. The documents must be the original ones with a xerox copy of every document. After the verification of all the documents, they will be given back to the candidates.

The documents which are required to be carried are as follows:

•    VITEEE 2021 e-Admit Card 
•    VITEEE 2021 Counselling card 
•    VITEEE 2021 Result copy 
•    A copy of Aadhar card which is self-attested.
•    Any proof for boys such as birth certificate or mark sheet of class 10th X
•    Marksheet of class 12  and if that is not available  hall ticket for boards examination 
•    All the candidates who are in a certain category should be carrying their certificates such as SC/ST candidates and nativity certificate for all the candidates belonging to Jammu and Kashmir and from east India.
•    As mentioned earlier a DD in favor of VIT University for the amount of rupees 50,000 Paypal at Vellore.
•    Profile of the student
•    Form for undertaking

At the time of admission, all the candidates should have the following documents:

•    Affidavit by Student
•    Affidavit by Parent
•    Hostel Affidavit – Male candidates 
•    Hostel Affidavit – Female candidates
•    Certificate of physical fitness

Eligibility for VITEEE Counselling 2021

All the candidates who have a rank between 1 and 99999 in the entrance examination conducted by Vellore Institute of Technology will be eligible to participate in the counselling process for all the four campus. The candidates having a rank of 100000 or above in the entrance examination will not be eligible for the counselling procedure of VIT 2021 for the campuses of Vellore Chennai and AP.

All the candidates who are having a rank of 150000 or higher will be able to attend the counselling for the campus of Bhopal only. The dates for the counseling sessions of VIT Bhopal have not been yet announced by the authorities and as soon as they are announced by then we will upload it to our website.
