About Veterinary College Predictor
Veterinary College Predictor is a tool provided by various online educational analyst to predict the chances of the student in getting admission in Homeopathic medical colleges via giving entrance exam i.e. NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) conducted by the central authority known as NTA (National Testing Agency). This examinational is conducted across India for taking admissions in all medical/dental colleges of India. Veterinary College Predictor tool is used to predict the probability of the getting the desired colleges as per the ranks of the students before the beginning of the counselling process. By using Veterinary College Predictor candidates can make the speculation about the list of colleges that they are going to get after giving their NEET Exam. Veterinary College Predictor is not 100% accurate as it is mere speculation made on the basis of ranks and the previous years’ cut off of various institutes.
About NEET
NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) is a national level based entrance examination meant for taking admissions in medical colleges/Universities. The criteria for getting admission are to clear the NEET Exam with better scores. Students have to analyse their NEET score which is the base of qualifying to access admission in medical colleges/Universities. The different medical colleges/Universities have their cut offs which is meant to scrutinize the creamy layer for the purpose of taking those who are bright in studies and willing to make their career in medical field. If the students meet the cut off demands, ranking and score they were called for counselling sessions at the college/University for taking admissions.
Students have to serious and sincere and have zeal to make their career in medical field start preparing for the NEET exam at the beginning of their 12th standard. The subjects that have been asked in NEET are Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology.
The curiosity in students after giving NEET exam gave birth to Veterinary Rank Predictor. This tool works on the basis of analysing previous years ranks. Now days there are a lot of online Veterinary Rank Predictor tools available online, where a candidate can use it for determining his estimated ranks. The rank predictor doesn’t give exact rank but it would surely provide a rough idea about the rank. The Veterinary Rank Predictor accuracy depends on the data feed into it as it only predicts the score or rank that the candidate would get on the basis of the answers he had given in NEET Exam. It further bifurcates that from each of the four sections which questions have been answered correctly then only it predicts your rank.
Just after giving NEET exam within a week the answer keys were out on the official website of NTA. Students are allowed to check the answers they had given and the correct answer as per NTA. This process is meant to analyse the probability the NEET score and if a candidate have any doubt on any answer he/she can challenge it.
NEET Cut Off
NEET Cut off marks is the qualifying marks that must be attained by the candidate in order to get a confirmed seat in any Homeopathic medical college. The factors responsible for determining NEET cut offs are number of students appearing in the exam, difficulty level of the exam, availability of seats in different colleges, etc.
NEET UG Eligibility Criteria
- NEET is mandatory for the candidates willing to get admission in medical courses. This exam is for Indian as well as the overseas candidates.
- Applicant should be 17 years old as on December 31, 2021, while the upper age limit for general category candidates should be 25 years. There will be a relaxation of 5 years for reserved category candidates i.e. SC/ST.
- It is compulsory for candidates to have domicile of the state for admission to NEET UG. If an applicant has completed their Class 10th and 12th from the schools located in the state, they do not have to provide their domicile certificate.
- In case any candidate has passed either Class 10th or 12th outside the state, then they have to submit the general domicile certificate.
- The candidates can attempt the NEET Exam, as many times, as they can and they wish till the maximum age is attained by them.
- The foreign nationals and the overseas citizens of India or NRI’s are entitled to get reservations of 15% of the All India Quota seats. The Jammu and Kashmir candidates are not eligible for this reservation.
- Candidates have to complete their Class 12th with an aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English subjects. While reserved category candidates have to qualify Class 12 with 40% and Persons with Disabilities (PwD) has to secure at least 45%
Note: Students who have secured minimum cut off marks mentioned by the authority are eligible to participate in AIQ (All India Quota) counselling for NEET – UG and state level quota under NEET UG Counselling. Under AIQ i.e. 15% in all over India basis any student can apply the rest 85% Quota is reserved for the state only.
Veterinary Admission through VCI Counselling
In India if you would not be able to get an admission in MBBS/BDS course then you can make your career in Veterinary. This course is similar to that of MBBS/BDS. From time to time there are government vacancy are available or else you can establish a clinic of your own. Not only you can Dr. in the front of your name but also you can do PG and Research Programme for the success. After doing this course you would be an animal doctor. This course is known as B.V.Sc. & AH (Bachelor of Veterinary Sciences and Animal Husbandry). In India there are Private as well Government colleges which provide veterinary course and the counselling is done on the NEET score, but there are some states which conducts separate exam for the admission. Just like MBBS/BDS there are two types of counselling namely All India Quota (15%) by VCI and 85% state Quota where the state authority conducts the counselling. So now let me explain the whole veterinary course and the admission process. There are two counselling authorities for admissions namely:
- VCI ( Veterinary Council of India) for 15% All India Quota
- State Counselling Authority for 85% state quota
VCI (Veterinary Council of India) for 15% All India Quota:
This committee is a centralised counselling authority which comes under Ministry of Fisheries, animal husbandry and dairying, Government of India. The whole process is online i.e. from registration till the seat allotment each step is carried online. Candidates from across India are eligible for this quota irrespective of the state which they belongs to. The candidates who have NEET score are eligible for the seat. There are Government and Private Institutions.
State Counselling Authority (State DME):
All the states frame a counselling committee for the admissions in their states for 85% seats in the Government colleges and 100% seats in the Private colleges after conducting the exams. The candidate of a state can apply to the Government and Private college of their state and take admission in Veterinary college. How t
o take admission in 15% All India Quota:
After 20 – 25 days of the announcement of the NEET Result, VCI starts registration and choice fill. The official website is http://www.vcicounseling.nic.in . In this First Round, Second round, Third round and mop up round counselling is conducted via online mode, the seats left after these rounds would be transferred to the state. At the time of Registration the whole counselling schedule is uploaded on the website.

In 15% quota there are 47 veterinary colleges; in this 43 are Government Veterinary colleges having 480 government seats and 04 Private colleges having 45 seats.
