NRI & Management Quota Admission

Sri Siddhartha Institute of Medical Sciences & Research Center, Bangalore offer 15% seat under NRI quota for UG MBBS course. The eligibility for admission under the NRI Quota seats will be NRI candidates himself / herself of children of NRI whose parents are resident of Karnataka.

Priority to be given to the domicile of Karnataka. If seats remain vacant, then the same may be filled with eligible candidates of other States domicile. All the admission shall be based on merit only and reservation policy for admission shall be as per Govt. of Karnataka.

Candidates admitted under Self-Financed seats shall not be eligible for Govt. of Karnataka Stipend as well as Internship Allowance. Under NRI / NRI Sponsored category seats admitted students will not be eligible for Govt. of Karnataka Stipend and Internship Allowance. Self Financed and NRI/NRI Sponsored seats will be non-resident types. However, the hostel facility may be provided to students admitted under Self Financed / NRI seats as per suitability and availability.

NRI Candidates who wants to claim benefit for NRI quota should select “NRI” at the time of online registration and should submit the documents with the required affidavit enclosed at the time of document verification, otherwise they will not be eligible for NRI quota.
