Types of Fees in JAC Delhi 2026
There are essentially two types of fees in the JAC Delhi counselling process:
- Registration-cum-Counselling Fee – paid at the time of registration
- Seat Acceptance Fee – paid after seat allotment in any round
After admission is confirmed, you also pay the Balance Academic Fee directly to the allotted university.

This fee must be paid once, during the registration period. It is non-refundable under all circumstances, even if you do not participate in counselling after paying, or if you do not get a seat.
If your payment is deducted but not reflected in your login, the amount will be automatically refunded within 7 working days. If your payment fails, pay again immediately without waiting for the refund, inform the JAC helpdesk at payment.jacdelhi2026@dtu.ac.in with your JEE Application Number, Name, Mobile Number, Transaction Date, Time, and Transaction Number.

Important Rule: If you do not pay the Seat Acceptance Fee within the deadline after allotment in any round, your seat is automatically cancelled. You will not be considered for subsequent regular online rounds. Pay as soon as the allotment result is out, do not wait.
Also important: The Seat Acceptance Fee cannot be paid by Demand Draft, Cheque, or Cash at the university counter. Only online payment or SBI branch challan is accepted.
