Indira Institute of Management, Pune (IIMP) is one of the top 50 B- schools of India. Indira Institute of Management Pune is the flagship institute of Shree Chanakya Education Society’s (SCES’s) : Indira Group of Institutes which offer the MBA Program. It is the third management institute in Maharashtra and the first in Pune to be accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) of AICTE, New Delhi for MBA course. Their MBA Program was formerly affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University but has become Autonomous from the Academic Year 2019 for the next 10 years.

BBA Program : The course is designed to develop the right understanding and awareness about various business systems and cultivate desired business acumen amongst the students. The objectives of program is developing skills, aptitude and awareness required to run big business organizations. Specializations are as follows :

- Marketing Specialization – The course is based on the basics of marketing theory and prepares students to apply them in the competitive market out there.As they say Good marketing makes the company look smart and Great marketing makes the customer feel smart, IIMP prepares you for both the types of marketing through case studies and assignments in various industrial sectors keeping in mind customer relationship management and customer specific strategies.
- Finance Specialization – The course focuses on training the students to organize, plan, control and monitor financial resourses of an organisation and help them in achieving their objectives as it is rightly said It’s not the incoming profit that makes an organisation rich and successful but the habit of investing and managing the profit in the right way. Therefore IIMP aims at developing students in various areas such as Corporate Finance, Exchange & Risk Management, Accounting & Reporting and Auditing and Control functions.
MBA Program :
- Marketing Management – This discipline of IIMP prepares a student to organize and practically apply marketing beliefs, tactics and methods in an enterprise and gives them direction on how to mange a firm’s marketing resources and activities.
- Financial Management – IIMP produces such worthy Financial managers who are capable to decide the sort of capital that is required to fund the company’s assets and maximize the comapany’s value for the stockholders at the same time. It also trains them to efficiently manage a firm’s funds.
- Human Resource Management – IIMP provides its students with the strategic approach to manage people in a company or firm such that they help to maximize employee performance in favour of company’s competitive advantage.
- Operations and Supply Chain Management – IIMP teaches its students about everything that lie in the way of goods reaching from suppliers to consumers ,through this course. It includes sourcing, goods management, operations, distribution, logistics, retail, demand prediction etc.
- Business Analytics – Through this, the institute teaches its students to analyse data to guide a firm in improving processes, products, services and software . They also learn to evaluate any business model efficiently.

Eligibility of Indira Institute of Management Pune:
- MBA :
- Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university with 50% marks
- CAP
- BBA :
- 12th Examination (H.S.C. 10 +2) passed from any stream with English as passing subject and has secured at least 40% marks or
- Three Years Diploma Course after S.S.C. i.e. 10th Standard of Board of Technical Education conducted by Govt of Maharashtra or equivalent or
- Two Years Diploma in Pharmacy after H.S.C., of Board of Technical Education conducted by Govt of Maharashtra or equivalent.
- PGDM :
- The degree examination of a recognized university passed with a minimum of 50% marks and minimum 45% marks for backward class(must be accompanied with caste certificates and non-creamy layer certificates at the time of confirming the admission) from any state in India.
- must have a written test score of any of the following tests: AICTE – CMAT/CAT/XAT/MAT/ATMA/ G-MAT/ MAH-CET Or should be appearing for any one the these tests and produce Test Score card at the time of admission if shortlisted.
