Govt Polytechnic Meham was established in 2009.
That is with the aim to enhance the employability of the youth by equipping them with the latest technical skills for suitable employment through technical education.
In 2009, diploma courses were introduced with the intake of 60 students in following streams:

  •  Firstly, Computer Engineering.
  • Secondly, Civil Engineering.
  • Further, Electrical Engineering.
  • Also, Mechanical Engineering.

Today Govt Polytechnic Meham is running 04 Diploma courses with approximately 512 students on a roll.
That is under the guidance of matured, dedicated, experienced and highly qualified staff.

In fact, Govt Polytechnic Meham, Rohtak is spread over an area of about 5 acres.
However, the campus is laid out with teaching blocks, Canteen, Play Ground, Separate Common room for Girls and Boys.
Moreover, the Institute has spacious and well-ventilated classrooms.
Further, labs are having latest and modern machinery to impart practical knowledge to the students.
Also, the Institute has a well-furnished library.
Further, it subscribes 03 magazines and 5 News Papers, 1000 Reference books to keep the students and teachers up – to – date in every field of knowledge.
