Government Polytechnic Mainpuri was established in the year 1983 by the Government of Uttar Pradesh. 

This College is situated in Mainpuri in the Uttar Pradesh state of India. 

It is affiliated to Uttar Pradesh Board of Technical Education.

It is also approved by AICTE, Ministry of HRD, Government of India.

This college offers polytechnic diploma courses in India, offering ITI courses for technical education.

Government Polytechnic Mainpuri

The classes of the first batch were started from session 1985-86 in only one stream of Electronics Engineering.

Later, two more streams of engineering, namely Instrumentation & Control Engineering and Electronics (Advance Microprocessor and Interface) were also added.

Government Polytechnic Mainpuri (GPM) provides placement assistance to all its students.

The dedicated placement cell regularly conducts grooming sessions of the students in areas like soft skills, interview facing skills, behavioral skills hereby making them industry-fit.
