Admission Process in MBBS Course at Government Medical College, Konni

KEAM 2025 Application Process (MBBS/BDS) – State Quota

The online application for KEAM 2025 must be submitted through the official website www.cee.kerala.gov.in. The process has five mandatory steps, and all must be completed before the deadline to be considered for the admission.

Step 1: Registration

  • A one-time registration where the system generates a unique Application Number.
  • Candidate must create a strong password with Minimum 8 characters, At least one alphabet [a-z or A-Z], At least one number [0-9], At least one symbol [!@#$%^&*] and Save your login credentials carefully for future use.

Step 2: Fill Application

  • Enter personal, academic, and other required details carefully.
  • Ensure accuracy, as errors may impact eligibility or reservation claims.
  • Use the ‘Save & Preview’ option to verify entries.
  • Finalize details using ‘Save & Finalize’.

Step 3: Application Fee Payment

Pay the application fee online using a credit card, debit card, or internet banking.

Centralised Allotment Process (CAP) – State Quota

Centralised Allotment Process (CAP) under the Single Window System (SWS) will be utilized to allocate online seats for Professional Degree Courses such as MBBS and BDS.  This process would be carried out by the Kerala Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), with full technical support from the National Informatics Centre. 

Seat allotment will be based on the options made by candidates, the CEE rank lists (based on NEET 2025), and other relevant reservation criteria.  Candidates who appear on the KEAM 2025 rank lists for Medical and Dental courses and meet the eligibility requirements such as nativity, academic qualifications, and age can register their options online.  Only female candidates can register for options at Women’s Colleges.

Candidates must log in to the CEE website (www.cee.kerala.gov.in) with their Application Number (found on the KEAM 2025 Admit Card) and Password (established during the application process). After logging in, pick the ‘Option Registration’ menu item and follow the on-screen instructions.  Candidates can register for any number of courses/colleges across different streams (provided they appear on the respective rank lists).

Allotment Schedule

Once the option registration period ends, the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE) will process the data and publish the allotment results on the official website: www.cee.kerala.gov.in.

The Allotment Memo will show:

  • The name of the college allotted to the candidate.
  • The fee amount to be paid.
  • Important announcements and dates related to allotment will be shared on the CEE website.

Admission Process

  • After paying the fee, candidates must join the allotted college as per the schedule.
  • Failing to join will result in Loss of the allotted seat, Cancellation of all existing options in that stream or Candidates must also pay the university admission fee at the time of joining.
  • If a candidate leaves the course later to join a different college not part of the KEAM CAP, they will Lose their current allotment or Lose all remaining options in that stream.

Confirming Options for the Next Round

To participate in subsequent rounds, candidates must:

  • Log in to the Option Registration Page.
  • Click the ‘Confirm’ button to validate their existing options.
  • Only after confirming can candidates:
  • Delete unwanted options.
  • Change the priority of their existing choices.

Reporting at the College with Required Documents

Candidates who are allotted a seat must report to the Principal/Head of the Institution with the following documents:

  • Proof of Date of Birth (e.g., birth certificate).
  • Transfer Certificate (TC) and Conduct Certificate from last attended institution.
  • Original mark sheet and Pass certificate of the qualifying exam (Higher Secondary or equivalent).
  • KTU B.Tech applicants from boards recognized by AIU don’t need equivalency certificate.
  • Eligibility Certificate from a university in Kerala (if applicable).
  • Mandatory for candidates from boards other than Kerala HSE/VHSE/CBSE/CISCE.
  • For KUHS-affiliated colleges, eligibility must be obtained from KUHS.
