Goa NEET Counselling 2026 Registration Process

Registration for Goa NEET UG Counselling 2026 is not a fully online portal process. Candidates must fill a physical application (Form A) by hand and submit it, along with self-attested document copies:

• Read the Rules of Admission and Eligibility Criteria given in the Common Prospectus carefully before applying.
• Appear for NEET UG 2026 and obtain a valid score/rank, since only candidates with a valid score are considered for MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, BNYS, AHS, B.V.Sc. & A.H. and Nursing courses.
• Download Form A (the single Proforma Application Form used for admission to Professional Degree Courses, except B.Arch.) from the DTE website, or obtain it from the notified Application Receiving Centres.
• Fill the form in your own handwriting, entering personal, academic and NEET details, and clearly indicating the category/categories and course(s) you are applying for by marking “YES” in the relevant boxes; only courses marked “YES” are considered.
• Affix an identical passport-size photograph (taken not earlier than 3 months before the date of application) on the form and on the Acknowledgement Card.
• Attach self-attested photocopies of the required certificates as per the checklist in the form; do not attach original documents, as the Admission Committee is not responsible for their loss.
• Remit the prescribed application fee through the approved mode of remittance to be notified, and attach the pay-in-slip/receipt of payment with the form.
• Submit the completed Form A, together with all enclosures, at the notified Application Receiving Centres, on or before the last date specified in the admission schedule (once notified).
• Obtain the Acknowledgement Card bearing your Registration Number as proof of submission; this card must be produced at the time of every admission round.
• If your NEET-UG 2026 result is not declared by the application deadline, submit the result within 8 days of its declaration, as required under the Prospectus.

A candidate may submit only one application form; if more than one form is submitted for a particular course and category, the application submitted last is considered, and the earlier applications and registration numbers stand automatically cancelled.

Choice Filling and Seat Selection Process

• Unlike some other state counselling systems, the Goa Common Prospectus does not describe an online choice-filling or choice-locking portal. Instead, seat selection for Goa NEET UG Counselling 2026 is done in person at admission rounds conducted at the Admission Centre of the Directorate of Technical Education, Porvorim, Goa.
• Every eligible candidate seeking admission must remain personally present at the notified admission round, at the Admission Centre, DTE, Porvorim, Goa, along with the Acknowledgement Card, original documents, and the prescribed fees.

• Seats remaining vacant after a round, for any reason, are filled in subsequent rounds following the same procedure, as per the notified schedule; candidates cannot approach for admission in between rounds.
• A candidate listed in the merit list remains eligible for all rounds of admission, whether or not admission was availed in an earlier round. If a candidate takes admission and later cancels it, the claim for that particular seat (course and institution) is forfeited for subsequent rounds. A candidate already admitted to a seat under one category generally cannot be admitted to the same seat (same course, same institution) again under a different category in a later round, except for candidates under the Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme and those belonging to SC, ST, OBC and EWS.
• Vacant seats in reserved categories are de-reserved and transferred to the General Category at the end of admissions for that category in each round (or at the beginning of the round, if there are no eligible candidates in that reserved category at all).

Seat Allotment Process for Goa

Seat allotment in Goa NEET UG Counselling 2026 does not follow a separate online “seat allotment result” download model. Instead, it works through in-person admission rounds where candidates select from the seats available at their turn in the merit list.
