However, University Institute of Technology RGPV, Bhopal has been renamed a few times by the government. Because when it was declared autonomous in 1988. So, the name new name is Bhopal Engineering College.

Eligibility Criteria:
UIT RGPV BE And B.Tech Course Eligibility
Admission to the BE/ B.Tech program is for the candidate with a minimum of 45% marks in 10+2 (Science Stream). Final selection to the course will be done on the basis of scores obtained in JEE Main Entrance exam.
UIT RGPV BE And B.Tech Lateral Entry
Lateral Entry to BE/ B.Tech program is for the candidate having Diploma in a relevant stream of Engineering/ B.sc. Degree with at least 45% marks in aggregate.
UIT RGPV ME Course Eligibility
Admission to the ME program is for the candidate with minimum 55% marks in BE/ B.Tech (Relevant Branch).
Final selection to the course will be on the basis of scores in GATE Entrance exam.
UIT RGPV MCA And M.Sc Course Eligibility
UIT RGPV offers MCA and M.Sc programs to the candidates having passed Bachelor’s degree from a recognized Institute/University with at least 50% marks in aggregate.
Final Selection to the course will be through Counselling conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Government of Madhya Paresh through online off campus procedure.
