The Government Engineering College Jhalawar stands in high feather for being the first Engineering College of the Government of Rajasthan among 6 districts selected under ‘Rural Employment Guarantee’ programme by the Government of India-HRD Scheme.

SCHOLARSHIP

The first session 2007-08 of B.Tech. four-year degree course came with Four (4) branches. For studying outside J&K State only.

• Firstly, eligible students should attend Counseling on the dates
  announced.
• Secondly, scholarships available for regular General /
  Professional/ Medical Degree Courses in prescribed list
  of colleges given on the AICTE Portal.
• Further, admission on merit basis through centralized
  counseling conducted by AICTE.
• Also, fulfilling minimum age and other eligibility criteria as
  prescribed by the Colleges/Universities.

Management Courses

Initially, Government Engineering college Jhalawar was offering 2 years full-time Post Graduate Programme leading to the degree of MBA (Master of Business Administration) approved by AICTE and affiliated with Rajasthan Technical University, Kota. (RTU).

However, this is a Two Year full-time programme, spread over four semesters and leading to the degree in Master of Business Administration. So, the most notable features of the programme are its flexibility and objectives of providing a genuinely broad-based education.
