All India Quota (AIQ)

  • 50% of the seats in each subject go to the All India Quota. MCC, New Delhi, fills these seats.
  • If MCC returns any vacant AIQ seat to the institute, it is filled under the Unreserved Category.

UT Quota

  • These seats are for candidates of Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu.
  • Seats are filled strictly on merit among NEET PG qualified candidates, following the priority order given below.
  • Seats meant for Dadra & Nagar Haveli candidates are filled by domicile candidates of that district only. The same rule applies to Daman & Diu.
  • If seats of one district remain vacant, they are filled by candidates of the other district.

Management Quota

  • Management Quota seats are available only in Dermatology & Venereology, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Orthopaedics and Radio Diagnosis, one seat each.
  • Seats are filled strictly on merit among candidates who have qualified NEET PG of the relevant year.
  • Vacant Management Quota seats are filled under the Unreserved Category.

NRI Quota

  • NRI Quota seats are available in General Medicine and Paediatrics, one seat each.
  • These seats are for Non-Resident Indians, Overseas Citizens of India (OCIs), and children or wards of NRIs who have qualified NEET PG.
  • Eligibility for NRI Quota follows the criteria laid down by MCC, Government of India, as amended from time to time.
  • Vacant NRI Quota seats are filled under the Management Quota.

How Vacant Seats Are Redistributed

Vacant AIQ and Management Quota seats are filled in the Unreserved Category in this way:

  • A single vacant seat goes to Dadra & Nagar Haveli or Daman & Diu on a rotational basis, following the roster.
  • An even number of vacant seats is divided equally between Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu.
  • If an odd number of seats (more than one) is returned, the highest even number is divided equally. The remaining one seat is filled as per the single-seat roster.

Seats are also arranged subject-wise, in alphabetical order, on 100-point reservation rosters for each district. The roster continues from the next point in the following year and repeats after it is completed.
