Common Management Admission Test (CMAT)

The abbreviation of CMAT is Common Management Admission Test, an online entrance test conducted by NTA (National Testing Agency) for granting admission in courses like MBA/PGDM. The score card of CMAT is accepted by 1000 colleges i.e. B-Schools of India. The registration process starts on 23rd December 2020. The examinations will be conducted on February 22, 2021.

Like other Entrance Exam the registration process is almost same. The complete application cum registration process is online and the application form for Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) is available at the official website of NTA. The steps to register for Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) are provided below:

Step – 1 Online registration via entering the basic details of the aspirant like

Name, Date of Birth, E-mail ID, Contact No, etc.

Step – 2 Creation of a Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) account with the User ID and Password, this

Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) Application Fee:

The application fee is different for the different sections of the society. The application fee is provided below:

Rs 1600 for general category (Boys)

Rs 1000 for general category (Girls)

Rs 1000 for OBC (NCL)/EWS

Rs 800 for SC/ST/PH (Boys) and Rs 700 for SC/ST/PH (Girls)

Rs 700 for Transgender

Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) Exam Pattern:

There are 100 questions asked in Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) Exam, every correct answer will give 4 marks and 1 mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer. The questions will be asked from the subjects like Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension, General Awareness, Quantitative Techniques & Data Interpretation. Exam Day Guidelines for Common Management Admission Test (CMAT):

Preparation for the exam as well as for the exam day is one of the crucial things that an aspirant must keep in his mind. Keeping this in mind there are some points that is to be taken into consideration on exam date:

  • Carry your admit card of Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) as hard copy, soft copy/digital copy is not acceptable at the exam centers.
  • Reach 2 hours before the examination timing.
  • Don’t carry valuables/electronics gadgets as these are not allowed in the examination room.
  • Carry one of the below mentioned Photo Id Proof at the examination centre:

Aadhar card

PAN card

Voter ID card

Passport

Driver’s license
