Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2021 organized by Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law (RGNUL): The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2021 is a national-level entrance examination which is taken through an online mode. Candidates need to qualify Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2021 examination to be eligible for admission into any of the NLUs (National Law Universities) of the country. Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law (RGNUL)offers a five-year integrated B.A.LL.B. course for the undergraduate students and a one-year postgraduate LL.M. course through Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2021.

The total number of seats for the B.A.LL.B.(Hons.) are One Hundred and Eighty (180). Division of the seats is as follows:

# Out of 180 Seats there shall be Horizontal Reservation as under:

Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law (RGNUL) was incepted by the State Legislature of Punjab by passing the Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Punjab Act, 2006 (Punjab Act No. 12 of 2006). The University was established with its Headquarters being – Mohindra Kothi, The Mall, Patiala w.e.f. 26 May 2006. Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law (RGNUL)got listed with the University Grants Commission (UGC), New Delhi under Section 2(f) of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 and has been declared fit to obtain grant from the (UGC) under Section 12-B of the UGC Act, 1956. Eligibility Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2021 organized by Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law (RGNUL):

Five-year program:

  • Candidates must have passed 10+2 examination of the Punjab School Education Board or its equivalent with minimum 45% marks in the aggregate (40% marks for SC/ST)
  • The Admission of the candidates is based on the merit in the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2021
  • Candidates appearing in or awaiting results of the qualifying examination held or being held in March/April may also apply and appear for the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2021 provisionally, subject to the condition that they shall produce the proof of having passed the qualifying examination with the prescribed percentage of marks at the time of their interview/counselling for admission at Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law (RGNUL)

One-year program:

  • Candidates must have LL.B./B.L. Degree from Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law or any other University whose degrees are recognized by this University with minimum 55% marks (50% marks for SC/ST) shall be eligible for admission to the course.
  • The Admission of the candidates is based on the merit in the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2021
  • Candidates appearing in or awaiting results of the qualifying examination held or being held in March/April may also apply and appear for the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2021 provisionally, subject to the condition that they shall produce the proof of having passed the qualifying examination with the prescribed percentage of marks at the time of their interview/counselling for admission at Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law (RGNUL)

Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2021 organized by Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law (RGNUL) Application Process:

  • Before applying online, Scanned copy recent photograph and signature in JPEG format in the permissible size.
  • Candidates seeking admission to Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law (RGNUL)can apply online at the official website for the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2021.
  • Candidates will then have to enter working email ID, mobile number in order to receive username and password.
  • Candidates can login using the username, password. Then they can fill form using the dashboard.
  • Details to be entered by the applicants in form include email address, mobile number, qualifying exam etc.
  • Mode of fee payment that can be used by the candidates shall include net banking, credit card, debit card.
  • Each aspirant should fill a single application cum admission form for multiple courses also.
  • If the candidates forget their password, then they can use forgot password link to get it. Password then gets sent to registered email.

(i)Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2021 Admit Card

(ii) 10th Pass Certificate and Marksheet

(iii) 12th Pass Certificate and Detail Marksheet

(iv) Migration Certificate from School/Board/University last attended

(v) Character Certificate from Educational Institution last attended

Ans: The fee can be paid by two methods: Through two separate Demand Drafts for Fee and Mess Charges separately in favour of Registrar, RGNUL, Punjab payable at Patiala OR through Cash to be deposited at State Bank of India, RGNUL Branch, Sidhuwal Campus.
