The Department of Training and Technical Education, Govt. of Delhi, in its mission to promote and establish a center of excellence in form of Institutes, has added Ch. Brahm Prakash Government Engineering College at Jaffarpur, Delhi, from academic session 2007-08.

In fact, Ch. Brahm Prakash Government Engineering College has commenced academic programmes in B.Tech. (Civil Engineering & Information Technology Engineering) from the academic session 2007-08 and B.Tech. (Environmental Engineering) from academic session 2008-09.

Further, the aim of the Govt. of Delhi is to develop Ch. Brahm Prakash Government Engineering College as a center of excellence in Civil and Environmental Engineering and related fields.

In fact, Ch.B.P.Government Engineering College, Jaffarpur, Delhi is located on the outskirts of South-West Delhi, which is approx 8 Km. from Najafgarh & about 15 Km. from Dwarka Mor Metro Station. However, the location is also available in the route map.

Library:

Moreover, the college library has around 20,000 books. Further, it subscribes to 45 printed journals, 28 Magazines, and 04 E-journals. The Reference Section has 3000 titles of reference books. Library also subscribes to many Newspapers.

Students: Application for membership is to be made on the prescribed form that can be obtained from the library on the production of the Admission Fee Receipt. (Not applicable in case of Faculty.)

Due recommendation of HOD & Dean (Acad.) & the Principal is to be taken on the prescribed form.

All members including faculty, non-teaching staff and students are entitled to get six books issued.

Also, we issue six Library Tickets to the student members that entitle them to get six books for the duration of 14 days.
