Bachelor of Technology (B. Tech.)

The B. Tech course is a 4 year long programme which is a semester based where students have to gain theoretical and practical knowledge. Effective communication and soft skills classes are incorporated in the curriculum to ensure that the graduates are highly competent of working in terms of various expertise profiles. The program promotes cutting edge technologies like Artificial Intelligence, Mechatronics, Machine Learning etc. The B. Tech. is a course that can be selected by a student who desires to be engineer and have 12th with Science Background (PCM). The students, who have cleared the Senior Secondary (12th Class) examination can apply for the B. Tech degree course.

Eligibility Criteria for B. Tech Course at BM Institute of Engineering and Technology (BMIET):

  • Candidates must have completed their 12th standard CBSE pattern or with minimum 55% aggregate marks.
  • The subjects must have subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English (core/elective/functional).

 Admission Process:

Admission is strictly made on the basis of merit list prepared by the counselling authority i.e. IPU – CET. All applicants are required to appear in Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Main Paper 1 Conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA). The University shall not conduct

its own CET for admissions, but shall be utilizing the merit of JEE Main Paper 1 for its admissions. The admissions would be based on the merit / rank in the JEE.

Note: Blind (including colour blind), deaf and/or dumb candidates shall not be eligible for admission in these courses.

Candidates willing to opt for B.Tech. course must visit the official website of GGSIPU. For getting admission candidates must follow the given steps i.e.:

  • Fill the online registration form which consists of sign up by entering the basic details of the candidates like name, father’s name, mobile number, etc and pay the mentioned fees.
  • Fees that is to be deposited only via Bank Challan.
  • If Candidates are under some reserved (sports, defence, SC/ST, PH, KP, EWS, ect) category must present the relevant documents.

Campus Facilities at BMIET:

Library: The Library in the campus is well stacked with more than 34000, books, Journals and magazine, dissertations and bound journals on Applied Mathematics, Applied Physics, Applied Chemistry, Communication skills, Engineering Mechanics, Computer Science Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Information Technology, and Electrical Engineering, etc. The library has a seating capacity of 200 students.

Hostel: The Hostel provides accommodation to around 120 boys and 60 girls in a spacious multi storeyed building with all connected facilities like ventilated and sufficiently outfitted. We furnish a single bed, a study table, almirah and desert cooler to every room. Hygienic and nutritious food is provided at a reasonable cost.
