Eligibility Criteria for AIIMS B. SC. Nursing admission:
There are generally two courses under B. Sc. Nursing from which the candidate can opt from namely B. Sc. Basic and B. Sc. Post Basic. The eligibility criteria for both the options are different:
Eligibility Criteria for B. Sc. Nursing:
- The candidates must be medically fit and have to provide medical certificate at the time of getting admission.
- Candidates must have attain 55% of marks in order to apply for B. Sc. Nursing (Honors) course.
- The candidate must have done their 10 + 2 from a recognized board with Science stream and Biology subjects are preferred.
Eligibility Criteria for B. Sc. Post Basic:
- An aspirant must have acquired General Nursing Midwifery (GNM) certificate from any University/college.
- A candidate must have registered her/himself in State Nurses Registration Council as Registered Nurse Registered Midwife (RNRM).
AIIMS B. Sc. Nursing Exam Admission Process:
There are some common steps that is to followed in order to get involved in the admission process starting with the registration, appearing for the exam, declaration of result, counselling, etc. Below mentioned are the details of the steps to be followed to know about the complete admission process.
- Registration: The first step towards admission is to register to the official portal of the college offering the course. The registration can be done by creating a profile by entering the basic details asked in the registration cum application form of the college.
- Uploading the documents: There are several documents that needs to be uploaded to the official website i.e. mark sheet, etc.
- Payment of Application Fee: There is a nominal fee that is to be paid at the time of submitting the application fee. The application can be paid via online/offline mode. If is advised that the candidates have to download the receipt of the application fee.
- Issue of Admit Card: After the receipt of the application form by the authority that admit card will be issued to the shortlisted candidates. The admit card will be uploaded by the authority and the candidates have to take the print out of the admit card.
- Exam conduction: After issuance of admit card the candidates have to present admit card to the examination centre as their identification proof.
- Announcement of Result: After giving the entrance examination the result will be announced within a week or two. The announcement of the result is made either on the website or on campus bulletin board.
- Counselling: After the announcement of the result a counselling round is conducted for the eligible students.
- Admission: After going through all the above mentioned processes the candidate needs to pay the admission fee in order to confirm their seat.
AIIMS B. Sc. Nursing Application form:
The application is made in two steps namely Basic Registration and Final Registration. The two systems are a part of Prospective Applicants Advanced Registration (PAAR) system, newly introduced by AIIMS. Both the stages are utmost important the bifurcation of the both the stages are provided below:
Stage 1: Basic Registration: Under the basic registration stage the candidate have to fill in their basic details such as name, contact number, scanned images of photograph, signature, etc. After entering all such details the candidates would get a registration ID and a password for further registration process.
Stage 2: Final Registration: After the successful registration in the basic stage the candidates have to generate a code via which they can pay the application fees. After entering the code the candidates have to enter their academic details and enter the city in which they want to give the examination.
