Why Each Last Date Matters

Registration Last Date (15 June 2026): One-time window, not available in Round 2, 3, or 4. Missing this means no participation in any regular round.

Choice Filling Last Date (25 June for Round 1, 1 July for Round 2, 7 July for Round 3): Round 3 is the final edit window. Choices locked on 7 July apply to Round 4 and internal sliding as well. Unlocked preferences are not processed.

Freeze/Float Last Date: This has to be performed within the designated time limit after each round of seat allotment. Failure to Freeze/Float will cause the candidate to be excluded from the subsequent rounds of counseling.

Physical Reporting Last Date (16 July 2026): Any student failing to report to the allotted institution will forfeit the entire fee paid after allotment and his/her candidature will stand cancelled.

Special Round Last Dates: Special Round 2 physical reporting (3 August 2026) is the absolute final deadline of UPTAC 2026. After this, no further counselling is conducted and UPTAC records are preserved for only 90 days from the last round closing date.
