The entire registration procedure will be carried out online through the official ACPC admission website and the portal used for this is https://gujacpc.admissions.nic.in. No other mode of registration is available for seeking admission to Degree Engineering.
Every applicant who wants to take admission for Degree Engineering Counseling 2026 must complete the registration process within the aforesaid deadline without exception for late applications.

Before You Begin: What to Keep Ready
Starting the registration without your documents and information in order wastes time and increases the chance of errors. Before you open the ACPC portal, have the following ready:
- Your HSC (Class XII) marksheet or qualifying examination certificate
- School Leaving Certificate (for date of birth verification)
- Recent passport-size photograph in JPG format
- School Leaving Certificate scan in PDF format
- Category certificate (for SC / ST / SEBC / EWS candidates) in PDF
- Income certificate (for TFW applicants – family income below ₹8 lakh) in PDF
- Disability certificate from District Civil Surgeon (for PH candidates) in PDF
- Serviceman certificate from Commanding Officer or District Sainik Welfare Officer (for ESM candidates)
- Active mobile number that will remain accessible throughout the entire admission season
- Valid email address
- Net Banking / Credit Card / Debit Card / UPI for registration fee payment
All document scans must be clear, full-page, properly oriented, and readable. Blurry or incomplete uploads are the number one reason discrepancy queries are raised by ACPC verifying officers.
Step 1: Visit the ACPC Portal and Create a New Candidate Profile
Open the web link https://gujacpc.admissions.nic.in. Then click on the link for New Candidate Registration (also called Fresh Candidate Registration on the portal for 2026). This is the gate to entire ACPC process. In the Sign Up Form you will have to fill in the fields as given below:
- Candidate Name: Enter it as given in your HSC mark sheet or your qualifying examination certificate. Do not use abbreviations.
- ISD Code: Select India (+91).
- Mobile Number: Enter your 10 digit mobile number. This number will be used to verify by means of OTP, and also used to communicate all messages and information from ACPC to you until August 2026. So use an active mobile number.
- Email address: Enter a valid and regularly checked email ID.
- User ID: Choose a User ID of your choice. If that ID is already registered by any other candidate, then the portal will suggest another ID to you. It is exactly the same as creating an e-mail ID, you just have to change the ID till it is accepted.
- Password: Select a strong password of your choice and enter it in the Confirm Password field.
- Security PIN: Enter the security PIN as visible in the screen (case sensitive).
Make sure that all the fields are correctly filled. Click on Submit.
Step 2: Mobile Number Verification via OTP
Sign Up Form has been submitted and the ACPC will be sending an OTP to the mobile number that you have provided. The OTP will be valid for only 15 minutes. Enter it on the portal immediately to verify your mobile number.
On successful OTP verification, you receive an SMS confirmation stating that your User Profile has been created along with your Profile ID. Save this information securely.
Here on whenever you log into the ACPC portal, use your User ID and password to log in to the system. Do not share your login details with anybody.
Step 3: Log In and Complete Your Candidate Profile
After profile creation, log in to the portal using your User ID, password, and Security PIN displayed on screen. You will land on your candidate dashboard. Go to View/Edit Application Form and fill in all sections.

Candidates belonging to categories other than General must upload the relevant category certificate in the document upload section. Entering the correct category is important, it directly affects your merit rank and seat eligibility.
Sub-Category Details
Physically Handicapped (PH): Select Yes if you have a physical disability exceeding 45%. A disability certificate issued by the District Civil Surgeon is mandatory and must be uploaded.
In-Serviceman / Ex-Serviceman (ESM): Select Yes if your father or mother is currently serving in or has retired from the defence services. In-serviceman candidates upload the serving certificate issued by the Commanding Officer. Ex-serviceman candidates upload the certificate issued by the District Sainik Welfare Officer.
Tuition Fee Waiver (TFW): Tuition Fee Waiver (TFW): Select Yes if the family’s annual income is less than 8 lakh and desire to opt for the facility of fee waiver. A valid income certificate must be submitted from appropriate authority.
Other Information
Enter your Family Annual Income in Indian Rupees (INR). This is used for TFW eligibility assessment.
Step 4: Contact Details
Fill in your Correspondence Address, your current residential address where you can be reached during the admission process. You can also provide an alternate email address and mobile number here.
Fill in your Permanent Address. If both addresses are the same, you can tick the option to copy the correspondence address as the permanent address.
Step 5: Upload Documents and Photograph
This is one of the most important steps. All uploads must be in the correct format and clearly readable.

Upload each document one at a time. After uploading, preview the document to ensure it is readable, not rotated incorrectly, and is the correct document. A small file size does not always mean good quality — zoom in and verify.
Step 6: Review All Entered Information
Before final submission, revise each of the fields – personal information, sub-category details, contact details and uploaded documents. ACPC has given the provision for Edit button at this step, to correct mistakes, but post submission, all corrections have to be addressed through the query redressal process, which might consume more time. Verify:
- Spelling of the name matches the marksheet
- DOB is correct
- Category chosen is correct and matched your certificate
- All files are uploaded in the respective fields
- Photograph is current and clear
- Correct mobile number and email ID are provided
Step 7: Submit the Application and Pay Registration Fee
After review, click Submit to complete the registration application. The application gets directed to the fees payment section of the portal. Deposit the registration fee via one of the modes provided below:
- Net Banking
- Credit Card
- Debit Card
- UPI
Once payment is done, the payment confirmation receipt will get downloaded. Keep the registration proof safe with you.
Step 8: Apply for Degree Engineering Course
Once you have created and finished your Common Profile, you will be required to separately apply for the Degree Engineering (B.E./B.Tech) program using the portal. On the dashboard, proceed to the Apply For tab and choose the course. Enter your academic details such as details of board examination, seat number and details of the entrance examination (GUJCET/JEE Main). Upload any remaining course related documents at this step.
After Registration: Document Verification
When your application is complete and payment is done, ACPC verification officers will verify your uploaded documents. This takes place before the Provisional merit list is released on 12- June – 2026.
If officer finds an error/discrepancy for any document, a query would be reflected in the dashboard. Take this seriously and the procedure is as follow:
1. Log in into portal and open your respective application.
2. Navigate Query Redressal System in the left sidebar.
3. Click Submit Your Query.
4. Read officer’s remarks in detail.
5. Upload valid correct document as per prescribed format.
6. Click Submit and get the token no for your query.
7. Track your query status in View Query Status till it becomes closed.
Don’t attempt to register again at any stage. Your every interaction with verifying officer happens through the same application and under Query Redressal System.
After successful verification, get the downloaded and keep copy of Candidate Profile Letter by selecting System Generated Letters.
