How to Fill the UPTAC Registration Form 2026
Registration form will be available only online. No offline form or physical mode of submitting the application form is available. Here are the steps to fill the form:
- Enter Portal: Log in to https://uptac.admissions.nic.in and select the ‘UPTAC 2026 Registration’ link.
- Personal Information: Fill in your name, date of birth, gender, state of domicile, and contact information correctly.
- Education Information: Fill your qualifying examination, Board/University, year of passout, subjects, and percentage obtained. In case your board provides you letter grade, submit percentage certificate.
- Category/Reservation: Choose your category (UPGE / UPBC / UPSC / UPST / UPGEEWS etc.) along with appropriate sub-category (UPGL if candidate is female, UPAF if candidate is defence candidate, and UPHC if candidate is Divyangjan). Note: Subsequent request for changing categories will not be entertained.
- Upload Documents: Upload scanned colour photograph and signature. Blurred or unclear photographs may lead to form rejection.
- Make Payment: The form fee is Rs.1,000. Pay through Credit Card, Debit Card, or Net Banking and save the receipt.
- Submit Form: Submit the form and print out the confirmation page. Make a note of your Application Form number.
Common Mistakes to Avoid While Filling the Form
- Entering incorrect category or sub-category – these cannot be changed after submission
- Uploading a blurred photograph – this is a direct cause for form rejection
- Not uploading the percentage conversion certificate when the mark sheet shows only letter grades
