Common Mistakes to Avoid During MP DTE Registration
- Wrong category selection: Category cannot be changed from General to Reserved after submission. Selecting the wrong category means missing out on your reservation benefits permanently for that session.
- Outdated or incorrect certificate format: Certificates not in the prescribed DTE MP format are rejected during document verification even if the content is correct.
- Not locking choices: Saved choices are auto-locked by the system at the deadline, but only if they were saved. If you did not save any choices, the system has nothing to auto-lock and you are not considered for allotment.
- Providing wrong mobile number or email: All portal-based communication goes to the contact details you register with. An inactive or wrong number means you miss important updates.
- Ignoring the grievance window: If your merit list position or personal details have an error, the grievance window is the only time to fix it. Missing this window means you participate with incorrect data.
