Bihar UGEAC Counselling 2026 – Tips for Candidates

Getting the most out of UGEAC 2026 requires a little planning:

Register early. Do not wait for the last day. Website load is always highest near deadlines and technical glitches have disrupted submissions in the past. Register in the first week.

Check your JEE rank validity. Only JEE Main 2026 ranks are valid for UGEAC 2026. Scores from previous years are not accepted.

Prepare your documents before registration opens. Getting caste certificates, residential certificates, and disability certificates can take time. Start the process as soon as JEE results are out.

Fill as many choices as possible during counselling. More choices mean a higher chance of getting a seat. Do not limit yourself to just your top 3 preferences.

Understand category rules. If you are from a reserved category but believe your rank can get you a seat under Unreserved, you may be considered for UR seats too. The merit list handles this automatically.

Keep following the official website. BCECEB publishes all updates only on bceceboard.bihar.gov.in. Do not rely on unofficial sources for dates or instructions.
