For AYUSH course i.e. BAMS ,BHMS and BUMS there are both Government & Private Medical college in Uttar Pradesh which gives admission on the basis of NEET score, just like for that of MBBS/BDS it also have two counseling authorities. Under All India Quota (15%) AACCC conducts counseling and State Counselling Authority conducts admissions for State Quota (85%). The registration for UP Ayush Counselling 2022 has started from 05th January; 2022, the second round registration will start on 25.01.2022. So below mentioned are the types counselling authorities for UP AYUSH Counselling 2022 which provide admission.

AACCC (AYUSH Admissions Central Counselling Committee) for 15% All India Quota:

This committee comes under Ministry of Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha and Homeopathy (AYUSH). It is a central counselling committee which gives admissions for UG and PG courses. This process is completely online from Registration till seat allotment. Students from across India from all the states who qualified NEET 2022 are eligible for admission. Under AYUSH institutions AACCC conducts admission for BAMS, BHMS and BUMS courses. Under this Government, Government Aided, Central University/National Institutions, Private and Deemed University all these types of institutions are a part of it.

State Counselling Authority (State DME):

Uttar Pradesh has frame a counselling committee known as Directorate General of Medical Education and Training, Uttar Pradesh which conducts counselling for 85% seats in Government Medical College and all seats for Private Medical College. This counselling is conducted for the courses i.e. BAMS, BHMS and BUMS. All these admissions are given on the basis of NEET score. Candidates of a particular state can apply to Private or Government AYUSH Colleges and take admission. Although there are several states which allow candidates from outside states also and are called Open State. Candidates having low marks can also get admission. Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Karnataka, Kerala are popular open states.

UP AYUSH Counselling 2022 Eligibility Criteria

  • Applicant should be 17 years old as on December 31, 2022, while the upper age limit for general category candidates should be 25 years. There will be a relaxation of 5 years for reserved category candidates i.e. SC/ST.
  • It is compulsory for candidates to have domicile of the state for admission to BAMS 2022. If an applicant has completed their Class 10th and 12th from the schools located in the state, they do not have to provide their domicile certificate.
  • In case any candidate has passed either Class 10th or 12th outside the state, then they have to submit the general domicile certificate.
  • Candidates have to complete their Class 12th with an aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English subjects. While reserved category candidates have to qualify Class 12 with 40% and Persons with Disabilities (PwD) has to secure at least 45%

Note: Students who have secured minimum cut off marks mentioned by the authority are eligible to participate in AIQ (All India Quota) counselling for BAMS and state level quota under BAMS Counselling. Under AIQ i.e. 15% in all over India basis any student can apply the rest 85% Quota is reserved for the state only.

UP AYUSH Counselling 2022 Admission Criteria

Admission in BAMS course is strictly done on the basis of scores obtained in NEET exam. The counselling authorities place and provide the colleges to the students on the basis of their NEET score. There are several rounds in counselling after which the college is allotted to the students and admission is granted.

UP AYUSH Counselling Application Form

For getting into the counselling process the candidate must fill in the application form with the application fee. The complete process is online and could be done via official website of AACCC i.e. https://aaccc.gov.in . The candidates have to fill in the basic details like name, date of birth, mobile number, NEET roll number, etc. After completing the registration form the candidates have to log in with ID and password provided to them after the successful registration. UP AYUSH Counselling Process

There are several rounds which are conducted for providing admission via UP AYUSH Counselling. In all these rounds there are common steps that are to be followed by the applicants in order to get admission in the desired college.

  • Registration

    Candidates have to register themselves for UP AYUSH Counselling 2022, for this they have to pay the application/registration fee. The fee is to be paid online.

  • Choice Filling

    This process goes hand in hand with registration. Under this candidates can fill their choices of the colleges they want to take admission in.

  • Reporting to the allotted college

    To complete the admission formalities and submission of documents the candidates have to report the college.

UP AYUSH Counselling 2022 Rounds

The counseling is conducted in the following ways:

First Round Counselling: After the registration and choice filling AACCC publish the result for the first round. After the seat allotment candidates have to download the allotment letter and report to the medical college allotted to him/her with the required documents. First round is an exit round. In the First round you can exit and the security money would be refunded to you. If you want to participate in the second round and willing to upgrade your college you can do it. If a candidate does not allotted with a seat he/she is eligible for the second round of counselling.

Second Round Counselling: All the candidates who participated in the First Round of counselling are also eligible for the second round of counselling. Candidates who had done their registration in the first round need not do the registration again for the second round. But a fresh choice must be filled by the candidates in the second round. After the result announcement by AACCC for the second round candidates must report to the allotted college or else the security money would be forfeited. After the second round the vacant seat would be transferred to the concerned state.

Mop Up Round Counselling: AACCC will conduct mop up round counselling for Central Universities/National Institutions and Deemed University. In this round only those candidates are eligible who were not allotted seats in the First and second round of counselling. A candidate can do the new registration for Mop up Round. After the Mop up the vacant seats are transferred to the concerned institute.

Stray Vacancy Round:

In this round the institute conducts the counselling for admission. AACCC will publish the name of registered candidates for the institute and institute wise vacant seats will also be published by AACCC. In this list the names of those candidates were mentioned who were not allotted with any seat. For Stray Vacancy round a candidate must be physically present for counselling. The admission would be given on NEET score.

Documents Required for UP AYUSH Counselling 2022

Documents required after the seat allotment that is to be presented at the time reporting to the college:

1          Copy of Counselling Registration confirmation page

2          Application Form of NEET- UG – 2022 confirmation page

3          Admit Card of NEET UG – 2022

4          Rank Card of NEET UG – 2022 issued by NTA.

5          Aadhar Card/Voter ID Card/Ration Card/Passport as the case may be

written in the Application Form of NEET – UG – 2022 (any one of the ID

is required as mentioned in NEET application).

6          Date of Birth Certificate (if Secondary School Examination Certificate does not have the same)

7          Secondary School Examination or equivalent Certificate

8          10+2 Mark Sheet (Qualifying Examination Mark Sheet)

9          10+2 Certificate or Provisional Certificate (Qualifying Examination Certificate).Provisional Certificate is permissible for those candidates who had passed in the year 2022 only.

10       Character Certificate from the School or College last attended.

11       Six passport size coloured Photographs (same as uploaded on the Online Application Form in NEET UG – 2022) and One Postcard size coloured photographs (same as uploaded on the Online Application Form in NEET UG -2022 ).

12       SC/ST/OBC Certificate (if applicable)
