What Happens If You Miss the UPTAC Registration Last Date?
Missing the deadline to register has its repercussions:
- You will become disqualified from applying to Rounds 1 and 2 of the UPTAC 2026 counselling process
- It will also disqualify you from being considered eligible in the Special Round, provided its deadline too has been missed
- There is no way to get back the ₹1,000 registration fee; hence, any unsuccessful registration will lead to losing out on this amount as well
- You will not be able to take up any seat, despite the availability of any number of vacant seats at the end of all rounds.
Mercy registration is not allowed at AKTU’s discretion either. AKTU has clearly stated that the sole responsibility for timely registration lies with the candidate.
