The method of seat allotment is very procedural, so each step will need to be understood before proceeding.

- Choice Filling: You select colleges and courses in order of preference.

Rajasthan NEET Counselling 2026 Round Wise Seat Allotment
Multiple rounds of seat allocation will take place. After each round, you have a new opportunity to be assigned a seat (and/or upgrade).
- Round 1
The first allocation round will occur based on your order of merit and your chosen options. You must report and join immediately.
You may upgrade your seat during Round 2 even if you joined the seat allocated to you during Round 1.
- Round 2
Candidates must fill in fresh choices again for this round, but new candidates are also eligible for seats during this round and can also upgrade their seats from Round 1.
If you are assigned a new seat, your previous seat will be automatically cancelled.
- Round 3 (Mop-Up Round)
This round will be the final round of major seat allocation. You must fill out fresh choices again to participate in this round, but you may also upgrade your previous seat.
If you do not report to your assigned seat, your security deposit may also be confiscated.
- Stray Vacancy Round
Finally, you will have one last opportunity to gain a seat. Seats will only be filled from those that remain vacant after all previous rounds.
To be eligible, your participation will be limited to what has occurred during previous rounds. If you do not take advantage of your opportunity to be assigned a seat, there may be severe consequences.

Without fee payment, your seat will not be confirmed.
Upgradation Rules in Seat Allotment
Upgradation is possible till Round 3. But there are conditions.
- You must fill fresh choices in each round
- If upgraded, previous seat is cancelled
- If not upgraded, previous seat remains
If you do not fill choices in next round:
- You will not be considered for upgradation
- Your current seat becomes final

If you do not join the allotted seat:
- Your seat will be cancelled
- You may lose your security deposit
