Kasturba Polytechnic For Women
Kasturba Polytechnic for Women is also known as Kasturba Institute of technology which is located in Delhi. It is a private polytechnic college which was established in the year 1986.
The college is approved by All India Council of technical education, New Delhi.
It offers the diploma course in polytechnic engineering disciplines such as Computer Engineering, Electronics, and Communication Engineering, Public Health and Environmental Engineering and Fashion Designing.
It has a well-developed infrastructure with all required academic facilities and has a peaceful environment. There are well-equipped labs for each department, well-stocked library with rich collection of books, periodicals, journals etc, computer center, sports facility, medical facilities, fully furnished classrooms, seminar hall, Hostel, and Mess facility, cafeteria, and other facilities.

It conducts the Annual Youth festival year. Apart from this many other curricular and extra co-curricular activities are organized by college throughout the year.
To get admission to Diploma course, students must have completed high school with mathematics, science, and English as main subjects from a recognized board. They need to score minimum 35% marks in qualifying examination.
To get admission in the second year of Diploma course, students must have completed ITI or intermediate in science stream with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as main subjects from the recognized board.
Admission Process
Passed Xth class of 10+2 or matric or any other exam recognized as equivalent to Xth class exam conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education(CBSE).
Or an equivalent recognized board with minimum 45% marks in the aggregate of five subjects securing minimum 33% marks in each of English, Maths, Science(separately in Theory and Practical), Social Science and one additional language(which reflects higher marks.).
