सरकारी Short-Term Job Oriented Courses: जल्दी नौकरी का सच और गलत फैसले का जोखिम

Short-term Job Oriented Courses by Govt को लेकर हर साल counselling में सबसे पहले यही सवाल सामने आता है। 12वीं पूरी हो चुकी होती है, marks average होते हैं, घर में खर्च चल रहा होता है और parents चाहते हैं कि बच्चा अब जल्दी job पर लग जाए। Degree में तीन–चार साल लगेंगे—यह सोचकर घबराहट बढ़ जाती है।

तभी कोई रिश्तेदार, YouTube video या WhatsApp message सामने आता है, जिसमें लिखा होता है—government short-term job oriented course, 3–6 महीने की training, certificate और job opportunity। यहीं student और parent का दिमाग फिसलता है और उन्हें लगने लगता है कि यही सबसे safe रास्ता है।

लेकिन यहीं reality check जरूरी होता है। Government course होना अपने-आप में गलत नहीं है, लेकिन यह समझना जरूरी है कि इन courses का उद्देश्य क्या है और क्या नहीं। ये programs किसी emotional crisis का instant solution नहीं होते। अगर decision सिर्फ डर, pressure या दूसरों से comparison के आधार पर लिया गया, तो आगे चलकर regret का risk बना रहता है।

इस stage पर counsellor का काम excitement बढ़ाना नहीं, बल्कि expectations को ज़मीन पर लाना होता है—ताकि फैसला clarity से लिया जाए, मजबूरी में नहीं।

Government short-term courses का असली उद्देश्य क्या होता है

Government short-term courses का असली उद्देश्य अक्सर गलत तरीके से समझ लिया जाता है। इन courses का primary goal सीधे job देना नहीं, बल्कि students को skill exposure देना होता है। Skill India या State Skill Mission जैसे government frameworks के तहत ऐसे training programs design किए जाते हैं, ताकि छात्र entry-level skills सीख सकें और काम की basic समझ विकसित कर सकें। Government की भूमिका funding, curriculum framework और certificate तक सीमित रहती है। Job देना employer की responsibility होती है, government की नहीं। 

यह distinction शुरू से बहुत साफ होना चाहिए। लेकिन internet पर अक्सर “government course” शब्द को “government job” के साथ जोड़ दिया जाता है, जबकि दोनों का nature बिल्कुल अलग है। Short-term courses खासतौर पर उन students के लिए बनाए जाते हैं जो traditional academic route में fit नहीं बैठते या जिन्हें practical learning की जरूरत होती है। ये courses degree का replacement नहीं होते। अगर यह objective शुरुआत में clear नहीं हुआ, तो student certificate लेने के बाद भी यही सोचता रह जाता है कि अब आगे क्या करना है।

“यहीं गलती होती है” Certificate और Job को एक मान लेना

सबसे बड़ी और सबसे common गलती यही होती है। Course brochure में लिखा होता है placement assistance, industry exposure या internship opportunity। Parent इसे पढ़ते हैं और दिमाग में job fix हो जाती है। Reality यह है कि placement assistance का मतलब job offer नहीं होता। Internship learning phase होती है, permanent employment नहीं। कई internships unpaid होती हैं या stipend conditions से जुड़ी होती हैं। Certificate केवल eligibility बढ़ाता है, guarantee नहीं देता।

 Counselling में जब यह बात बताई जाती है, तो parents कहते हैं कि यह बात पहले क्यों नहीं बताई गई। Problem information की कमी नहीं, interpretation की गलती होती है। Certificate को solution मान लेना decision को कमजोर बना देता है।

Safe cases: किन profiles के लिए यह रास्ता काम करता है

कुछ profiles के लिए short-term job oriented courses practical साबित होते हैं। जैसे 10वीं या 12वीं pass students जिनका academic interest कम है लेकिन hands-on work में रुचि है। Rural या semi-urban areas में local demand वाले roles, जैसे basic technician या assistant level jobs। 

ऐसे students जो internship, apprenticeship और entry-level salary से start करने के लिए mentally prepared हैं। Families जिनकी expectation realistic है और immediate high income का pressure नहीं है। इन cases में course skill foundation देता है और आगे experience build करने में मदद करता है। Success यहाँ gradual होता है, instant नहीं।

Risky cases: जहाँ यह decision नुकसान पहुँचा सकता है

Risk तब बढ़ता है जब academically capable student डर या comparison में shortcut चुन लेता है। Urban students के लिए competition ज्यादा होता है, वहाँ short-term course अकेले sufficient नहीं होता। Risky तब भी होता है जब parents degree education को time waste मान लेते हैं। जिन families को relocation, odd working hours या low initial pay accept नहीं है, उनके लिए भी यह path risky हो जाता है। Course के बाद frustration बढ़ती है और student certificate को blame करने लगता है, जबकि mismatch decision में होता है।

Grey area cases: न पूरी हाँ, न पूरी ना

Grey area सबसे tricky होता है। Student borderline academic है। Degree भी possible है और skill course भी। Family finances manageable हैं, लेकिन pressure है कि बच्चा idle न रहे। Course free है, लेकिन post-training clarity नहीं है। Local demand seasonal है।

 ऐसे cases में clear yes या no देना गलत होता है। यहाँ hybrid thinking की जरूरत होती है। Part-time skill exposure, distance education या staged decision जैसे options देखे जाते हैं। Grey area में जल्दबाजी सबसे बड़ा खतरा बनती है।

Expectations बनाम Reality को एक बार साफ देखिए

यह decision लेने से पहले expectations और reality का फर्क समझना जरूरी है।

यह table excitement को कम करता है और practical सोच देता है।

Parents की emotional उलझन और student का self-doubt

Parents का डर होता है कि बच्चा पीछे न रह जाए। Student का डर होता है कि degree में fail हो गया तो क्या होगा। Government label emotional comfort देता है। यही comfort decision को risky बना सकता है। Emotional relief logic को override कर देता है। Counselling में यह साफ दिखता है कि decision fear-driven है, planning-driven नहीं। जब emotions acknowledge नहीं किए जाते, तब गलत choice होती है।

गलत decision का long-term असर धीरे-धीरे दिखता है

गलत profile पर लिया गया short-term course career stagnation ला सकता है। Student low-growth roles में stuck हो जाता है। Degree pathway delay या close हो जाता है। Confidence गिरता है क्योंकि promised outcomes पूरे नहीं होते। Family resources और crucial age years waste हो जाते हैं। यह नुकसान तुरंत नहीं दिखता, लेकिन 2–3 साल बाद साफ नजर आता है।

अंतिम clarity: apply नहीं, पहले check जरूरी है

Short-term job oriented courses अच्छे या बुरे नहीं होते। Context उन्हें सही या गलत बनाता है। Decision लेने से पहले profile, expectations और risk का honest assessment जरूरी है। अगर आप confirm करना चाहते हैं कि आपका case eligible, risky या not eligible है, तो detail भेज कर पहले check करना बेहतर होता है।
