Admission Process in BDS Course at Government Dental College & Hospital, Hyderabad

Telangana NEET UG Counselling 2025 is conducted by Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences for admission in MBBS and BDS course in government, private, and minority medical/dental colleges within the state. The counselling is separately held for two categories of seats:

  • Competent Authority Quota (CQ): It includes government dental colleges and medical colleges as well as a component of seats in private unaided colleges for Telangana local and non-local students.
  • Management Quota (MQ): This is available for Private Unaided Non-Minority/Minority Medical Colleges, Private Non-Minority Dental Colleges, and the Army Dental College admission, where it is open admission to deserving applicants irrespective of the domicile of the state, subject to NEET UG merit.
  1. Online Application Submission:

The applicants have to fill up the online registration form by visiting the official portal. The form has to be filled with uploading compulsory certificates, passport-size photograph, and signature. Incomplete forms will be cancelled and not accepted for merit ranking.

  1. Provisional Final Merit List:

After verifying the certificates uploaded, KNRUHS will announce the Provisional Final Merit List on its official website. This verification is a one-time process, irrespective of the number of counselling rounds. Care must be taken while uploading all the required documents by candidates during registration since no individual communication will be made.

  1. Web Option Entry:

Shortlisted students will be informed by the KNRUHS portal regarding web-based option entry schedule. In this, students have to log in and choose their preferred colleges and courses for MBBS and BDS separately, as per their choice order. It is important to take a printout of the entered options for future use.

  1. Seat Allotment and Admission:
  • Seat allotment is done on the basis of NEET-UG rank, reservation category, and candidate’s preference. After the seat is allotted:
  • Candidates need to pay a University fee of Rs.12,000 online via the payment gateway in order to download the allotment letter.
  • They need to report to the college allotted with original certificates, self-attested copies, and completed application form for final verification.
  • An Affidavit on Rs.100 Non-Judicial Stamp Paper from both candidate and parent shall be duly submitted, stating the genuineness of submitted certificates.
  • Non-adherence to reporting at the college within the stipulated time or non-receipt of mandatory documents will lead to cancellation of admission.
  1. Tuition Fee and Bond Details

The fee structure will be as informed by the Telangana government. All admitted candidates shall sign a bond of Rs.20,00,000, undertaking not to stop the course after the last cutoff date. In case of withdrawal post-cutoff, they shall be charged the amount of the bond as a penalty.

To begin, open the official Telangana NEET counselling website at https://tsmedadm.tsche.in. The homepage will be displayed with relevant links and instructions for UG admissions.

  1. Mobile and Email Registration

Click on the link for Mobile and Email Registration. It is necessary to provide a valid and active mobile number and email ID for the registration. An OTP (One-Time Password) will be sent to your mobile and email at various points in the counselling process. These contact details will be used for all subsequent communications, so keep them active during the process.

  1. OTP Verification

Enter the OTPs that you have received on your mobile and email, and click on the “Validate” button. If the OTPs are entered correctly, a success message will be displayed confirming successful verification, and you will be taken to the next step.

  1. Candidate Registration & Fee Payment

You will now be asked to fill in the registration form with personal, academic, and NEET-related details. After entering the required details, click the “Validate” button to proceed to the payment gateway.

The registration fee varies according to your category:

  • General/OBC: Rs. 3,500
  • SC/ST candidates: Rs. 2,900
  1. Confirmation of Successful Payment

After making the payment, a success message will appear on the screen, and a Registration Number will be sent to your registered mobile number and email ID. Note down this registration number because it will be needed in all subsequent stages of the counselling process.

  1. Data Updation

Telangana NEET MDS counselling application process is carried out in an online manner through the official website https://tspgmed.tsche.in by the Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS), Warangal for state quota seats. All candidates to apply for Postgraduate Dental Degree courses (Competent Authority Quota) has to register online and submit their documents. A four-step online registration and document uploading process is involved in the application process. The application process includes requirements such as mobile verification, email verification, registration fee payment, form filling and certificate upload. 

To help candidates smoothly undertake the Telangana NEET MDS counselling application process, below are the steps: 

Mobile and Email Registration

  • Visit the official counselling website: https://tspgmed.tsche.in
  • Use a desktop computer or laptop (avoid mobile/tablets) with screen resolution set to 1920 x 1080 pixels for best visibility.
  • Click on “Mobile and Email Registration” from the homepage.
  • Enter a valid and working mobile number and email ID.
  • OTPs will be sent separately to both mobile and email.
  • Enter the received OTPs and click “Validate” to proceed.
  • A successful OTP verification message confirms your mobile/email is now linked for further steps.

Important: Keep the same mobile number and email active throughout the counselling process. Do not block SMS or use email filters that may prevent important messages.

Candidate Registration and Payment of Fee

  • After successfully completing the mobile/email verification process, you will be routed to the Candidate Registration Form.   
  • Please enter your basic details like NEET MDS 2025 Roll Number, Name, Date of Birth, Category, and other mandatory fields. Once you have entered the basic details, select “Validate” to continue on to the payment gateway. 
  • The system will generate a Payment Reference Number for you; make sure to save this reference number. 
  • You will see your registration fee amount depending on your caste category. We advise you to double-verify your eligibility since the educational fees are not refundable and still, once paid you cannot go back. 
  • Now, you will select a Payment mode (for example, by Credit/Debit Card, Net Banking, UPI, etc.). 
  • Once you completed your payment, you will see a notification message on the screen after the validation has taken place and you payment has been done. 
  • You will receive an SMS and email confirming your Registration Number, for reference write it down since you will need this for all subsequent logins and uploading documents.

Updating Candidate Data

  • Return to the portal and log in using your NEET MDS 2025 Roll Number and Registration Number.
  • Click “Validate” to open the application form.

  • Upload a passport size photo and signature in JPG or JPEG format (each less than 100 KB).

Uploading Certificates

MDS Courses Admission Process in Government Dental College & Hospital, Hyderabad

Admissions to postgraduate dental courses (MDS/Diploma) in govrenment dental colleges in Telangana are conducted by Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS), Warangal and MCC through an online counselling process. This process covers Competent Authority Quota (CAQ) seats and All India Quota seats in govt institutions.

Admission Process for Competent Authority Quota

  1. Seat Matrix and Notifications: The number of seats under Competent Authority Quota is announced by KNRUHS after deducting seats allotted to All India Quota. Any newly sanctioned seats by NMC will be included without issuing a new notification.
  1. Merit List Preparation: The Provisional Final Merit List for NEET MDS 2025 was created based on the NEET MDS 2025 Rank and candidate eligibility criteria. Verifications of the uploaded certificates will be verified once for all rounds of counselling.
  1. Web Counselling Rounds:  Candidates must check the KNRUHS for the schedule in order to exercise web options. Seat allotment is based on NEET MDS merit rank and all reservation rules.
  1. Allotment Letter and Fee Payment: Candidates with a seat allotment must pay the university fee payment online to download the allotment letter. All original certificates, printout of applications, and a set of similar self-attested copies must be submitted to the college allotted.
  1. Admission Bond Conditions: All candidates need to sign an Rs.50,00,000 bond on Rs.100 stamp paper stating they will complete the course and if not will incur a penalty to further pursue education at any college in the country for 3 years.  In-service candidates would also sign a Service bond such as Rs.20,00,000 for PG Degree (which requires a mandatory 1 year service to the government after the PG). 
  1. No Free Exit After Specified Deadline: After free exit is over, candidates can opt out, but must pay Rs. 50 lakh penalty and may be banned from applying for any PG courses for 3 years as per KNRUHS rules.
  1. Custody of Original Certificates: All original certificates will remain with the college if the college collected them at the time of admission, and the course was completed, with the following except in the conditions in sub regulations.
  1. Review and Cancellation Authority: Similar to Management Quota, the Admission Committee has the final say for all admissions, including to cancel admissions if discovery of incorrect information or illegal admissions.

Admission Process in MDS Courses through MCC NEET PG Counselling – All India Quota

Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) conducts the registration process for NEET-MDS Counselling online. Below is a detailed guide:

1. Official Website: Only online submissions for counseling are accepted via the MCC’s official website, www.mcc.nic.in. Any other method of registration will be immediately rejected.

2. Important Registration Steps

Self-enrollment:

  • Candidates are required to independently finish the MCC website’s registration process.
  • It is totally forbidden to use agents or third-party services for registration.

Required Data:

  • Applicants should confirm that all information submitted during registration is true and accurate.
  • Information supplied will be considered self-certified and cannot be changed or altered in any way.

Email address and mobile number:

  • Candidates must register for counseling using the same email address and phone number that they have on file with the NBE.
  • Important messages and One-Time Passwords (OTPs) will be delivered to these registered credentials.

Certificate of Disability (if applicable):

  • According to NMC guidelines, candidates in the PwD category must first get their disability certificate online from the appropriate disability boards before beginning the choice-filling process.

Instructions for Filling Online Application Form

  • Use of Registered Email ID and Mobile Number: Candidates must use the e-mail ID and mobile number provided during the NEET-PG application process (NBE) for registration on the MCC portal. These fields will be pre-filled in the counselling application/registration form. All communications will be sent to the registered email and mobile number only.
  • No Changes Allowed: Requests for changes to the registered email ID or mobile number will not be entertained by MCC.
  • Technical Requirements for Registration: Use a laptop or computer with an updated version of Chrome, Internet Explorer, Firefox, or IOS. Ensure a stable internet connection to avoid technical issues during the registration and choice-filling process.
  • Registration Period: Registration will be available at the start of each round (first, second, third, and stray vacancy rounds) on notified dates. No requests for late registration will be accepted after the deadline.
  • Document Requirements: Candidates must carry original documents for verification during physical reporting at the allotted college/institute.

MCC NEET MDS counselling process is conducted in four rounds to ensure that all available seats in dental colleges are filled. Each round has specific guidelines and procedures. Here’s a breakdown of the key steps in each round:

ROUND-1 (Start)

  • Registration: Candidates must register for the main counselling, which includes payment of a non-refundable registration fee and a refundable security deposit (refunded to the account from which the payment was made).
  • Choice Filling and Locking: After registration, candidates need to exercise choice filling for preferred medical colleges and lock their choices.
  • Seat Allotment Process: The seat allotment process will take place based on the choices made and the availability of seats.
  • Result Publication: The Round-1 result will be published on the MCC website.
  • Physical Reporting: Candidates who have been allotted a seat must physically report to the allotted medical college or institute with original documents.
  • Free Exit Option: Candidates who have been allotted a seat can opt for free exit and directly participate in Round-2 without any further registration.
  • Upgradation Option: Candidates who are allotted a seat can opt for a willingness to upgrade to a seat in Round-2 only after physically reporting to the college.
  • No Allotment: Candidates who were not allotted a seat can directly participate in Round-2 without the need for fresh registration.
  • Note: Data from the joined candidates in Round-1 will be shared with all participating states.

ROUND-2 (Start)

  • Eligibility: Candidates who registered for Round-1 but did not get a seat need not register again for Round-2.
  • Fresh Registration: Candidates who have not registered in Round-1 or those who need to re-register (due to resignation or non-reporting) must complete fresh registration and payment for Round-2.
  • Choice Filling: Fresh choice filling and locking must be done for Round-2.
  • Result Publication: The result of Round-2 will be published on the MCC website.
  • Physical Reporting: Candidates who are allotted a seat in Round-2 must physically report to the college with original documents.
  • Seat Upgradation: If upgraded, candidates must relieve themselves from the Round-1 seat and join the Round-2 seat.
  • Not Allotted: Candidates who were freshly registered but not allotted a seat can directly participate in Round-3 without the need for fresh registration.
  • Note: Data from Round-2 will be shared between MCC and participating states.

ROUND-3 (Start)

  • Eligibility Criteria: Candidates need to fresh register for Round-3 with the payment of the registration fee.
  • Registration Requirement: Candidates who have not registered in Round-1 or Round-2, or have resigned from Round-2, need to register again.
  • Choice Filling: Fresh choice filling and locking must be done for Round-3.
  • Result Publication: The result for Round-3 will be published on the MCC website.
  • Physical Reporting: Candidates must report to the allotted college/institute with original documents.
  • Seat Upgradation: If upgraded, candidates must relieve themselves from Round-2 and join the Round-3 seat. Once joined, they cannot upgrade or resign from the seat.
  • Non-Joining: Candidates who do not join their Round-3 seat will forfeit their security deposit and be eliminated from further rounds of counselling.
  • No Allotment: Candidates who were freshly registered but not allotted a seat can participate in stray/further rounds.
  • Note: Data from Round-3 will be shared with participating states for the stray vacancy round.

STRAY VACANCY ROUND

  • Eligibility: Candidates who did not secure a seat in Round-1, Round-2, or Round-3 are eligible to participate in the Stray Vacancy Round.
  • Registration: Fresh registration and choice filling will be required for the Stray Vacancy Round. Choices from Round-3 will not be considered.
  • Exclusion: Candidates allotted a seat in Round-3 and did not report cannot participate in the Stray Vacancy Round.
  • Allotment Process: The Stray Vacancy Round will be conducted by the MCC for Deemed Universities. Seats will be allotted online via a software system.
  • Joining the Allotted Seat: Candidates allotted a seat in the Stray Round must report to the college/institute. Failure to do so will result in debarment from future NEET MDS examinations and forfeiture of the security deposit.

  • Identification Proof (ID Proof), such as PAN Card, Driving License, Voter ID, Passport, or Aadhaar Card
  • SC/ST Certificate (if applicable), issued by the competent authority in English or Hindi, certified by a Gazetted Officer (Essential document)
