2 Choice Filling

  • Choice filling is started after the seat matrix and the corresponding fee structure are released.
  • The applicants need to fill their college and course preferences with care by keeping seat availability and fee structure in mind.
  • If a candidate does not fill choices on the assigned date and time, they shall be out of that round’s allotment process.
  • New choice filling is compulsory in all rounds (Round 1, Round 2, and Round 3) irrespective of whether the candidate got allotted or joined a seat in earlier rounds.
  • Choices filled in any previous round will not be carried forward and will be scrapped for subsequent rounds.Candidates can also opt for virtual vacancies (expected vacancies from upgradation of already joined candidates) while filling choices in Round 2 or 3.
  • If a Round 1 or Round 2 joined candidate does not fill fresh choices in the next round, they will be considered to have retained their previous seat and will not be considered for upgradation.

3 Seat Allotment

  • Seats will be distributed purely on All India NEET 2026 merit, Options filled by candidate, Eligibility criteria and reservation rules and Allotment for every round (Round 1, Round 2, and Round 3) will be made online.
  • Candidates will have to verify their allotment status from the website and download their allotment letter.
  • Allotment is subject to change until original document verification, eligibility confirmation, and medical fitness check upon joining.

4 Pay Security Amount (Refundable)

Candidates paying Rs.2–5 lakh can fill choices for all seat types (Govt., Govt. Society, Private, and Dental). Security deposit will be adjusted in tuition fees if the candidate joins a college.

Security deposit will be forfeited if:

  • A seat allotted in Round 2 or 3 is not joined.
  • Wrong information was submitted during registration.
  • Required documents are not produced at the time of joining.
  • Refunds (if not forfeited or adjusted) will be credited to the same bank account used during payment after the counselling process ends.
  • Candidates not joining the Round 1 allotted seat will still be eligible for the next rounds without forfeiting their security amount.

However, non-joining of a seat allotted in Round 2 or 3 will lead to forfeiture and restrictions in further rounds or next-year participation (especially for Stray Round).

5 Joining at the College After Counselling

Candidates have to personally appear at the Academic Block, SMS Medical College, Jaipur (at their respective college desk allocated). Joining procedure is mandatory for all rounds and encompasses:

  1. Producing original documents and self-attested documents.
  2. Producing bond documents as the case may be.
  3. Online payment of one-year tuition fee into the authorized bank account of the Chairman, NEET UG Counselling Board.

Important Notes:

  • The candidates being upgraded in Round 2 or 3 will have their documents and fees carried over directly into the new college.
  • Failure to report with documents and fee payment by the last date will lead to cancellation of the allotted seat.
  • Medical examination is compulsory at the time of joining. Candidates found unfit will be disqualified.
  • Candidates pursuing another course must present a valid relieving letter from the previous institution during joining.
  • Admission is provisional and will be confirmed after university enrollment and legal verifications, if applicable.
