First and foremost, NEET-UG 2025 is essential to take part in Madhya Pradesh AYUSH Counselling. You were required to have sat for the exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) and attained the cut-off percentile.

Two Modes of Counselling:
State Quota Counselling (85%): It’s conducted by the Department of AYUSH, Government of Madhya Pradesh, and encompasses the majority of government and private AYUSH colleges in MP. It’s best suited for MP domicile students.
All India Quota (15%): It’s conducted by AACCC, and it encompasses seats in central universities, deemed universities, and 15% of seats in government/private colleges in MP. All state candidates can apply for these.
1. Profile Creation and Registration (Compulsory First Step)
- To register for counselling, all candidates need to create a profile and register on the official portal: ayush.mponline.gov.in. Here’s how:
- Go to the portal and click on the corresponding AYUSH NEET-UG 2025 link.
- Create a new profile by filling in your NEET Roll Number, secret key, and captcha.
- Fill in your contact number (extremely important, this is where OTPs and updates will be sent).
- Validate OTP sent to your registered mobile/email and set a password.
- Enter your academic and category information and then go ahead and pay the Rs. 2,000 registration amount.
- Save and download the receipt of registration.
2. Document Upload and Verification
- Once registration is done, you’ll be asked to upload scanned copies of all necessary documents (10th & 12th marksheets, NEET admit card, caste certificate, domicile proof, etc.). Verification is done online, and only verified candidates can proceed to choice filling.
3. Choice Filling & Choice Locking
This is the most crucial stage and often where most students get nervous.
- Choice Filling: Log in to your profile, browse the list of colleges/courses, and fill in your preferences based on what you want most. You can select multiple options, the higher your choice is listed, the higher its priority.
- Choice Locking: After finalizing your list, lock your choices. If you don’t lock them manually, the system will consider the last saved list, but locking is highly recommended to avoid technical errors.
4. Seat Allotment Rounds
Seat allotments take place in various rounds:
- Round 1 & Round 2: NEET rank, category, and preferences basis. After allotment, download the allotment letter and report at the college.
- Mop-Up Round: For vacant seats left. Candidates who haven’t received a seat or failed to report previously can re-register.
- Stray Vacancy Round: The last opportunity to catch remaining seats. Registration once more is needed.
Allotments are announced online, and students should check their profile on a regular basis.
5. Physical Reporting to Allotted College
- Report in person to the college within the specified dates.
- Bring original documents to be verified.
- Deposit admission fees to secure your seat.
- Non-reporting results in seat cancellation and deduction of the security deposit.
