How Online Document Verification Works in UPTAC 2026

UPTAC 2026 document verification is carried out online and is a part of the Samarth portal. Given below is a step-by-step process for the document verification.

During Registration: The candidate while applying for UPTAC from 25th May to 15th June 2026 uploads their required documents which includes Class 12 marksheet and certificate, JEE Main score card, domicile certificate, category certificate, medical fitness certificate, photograph, and signature and these documents verification start.

DigiLocker/APAAR Integration: UPTAC 2026 includes DigiLocker Integration, by which AKTU can directly fetch documents on its own from DigiLocker. Candidates must give consent during APAAR ID verification, following which AKTU can directly fetch documents including Class X marksheet and certificate, Class XII marksheet and certificate, caste certificate, income certificate, domicile certificate, JEE Main admit card and scorecard, CUET UG/PG admit card and scorecards.

Raising query: If there is a discrepancy, missing data or unclear document while verifying the candidates’ documents then the candidates are asked to rectify the error on their respective candidate dashboards. The candidates would be notified via notification and must then sign in their respective accounts and then raise their query by rectifying the discrepancy in document.

Query response window: This window will be active from May 25 to June 20, 2026.Candidates must clear all their pending queries from this period of time. If queries are not cleared in this window, the candidates will not be eligible for choice filling.

Response query verification: The verification team will verify the responses from May 25 to June 20, 2026.
