UPTAC B.Pharma Counseling 2026 is for admission into B.Pharm and Pharm D courses in all the pharmacy colleges affiliated with AKTU of Uttar Pradesh for the academic session 2026-27. Instead of JEE Main used for B.Tech admissions, the admissions for B.Pharma course in UPTAC 2026 will be mainly based on CUET UG 2026 rank. Registration and admission process will be done online at https://uptac.samarth.edu.in; registration began on 25 th May 2026 and ended on 15 th June 2026.
Eligibility, Exam Priority and Choice Filling Schedule
B.Pharm First Year: Passed Class 12 with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects and Mathematics or Biology as an additional subject. Minimum 45% marks in these subjects (40% for SC/ST). Valid CUET UG 2026 score required.
B.Pharm Lateral Entry (Second Year): Passed minimum three-year or two-year (lateral entry) Diploma in Pharmacy with at least 45% marks (40% for SC/ST) from a BTEUP-recognised institution. Valid CUET UG 2026 score required. Lateral entry seats are capped at 10% of previous year’s sanctioned intake.
Pharm D: Same as B.Pharm first year, Physics and Chemistry compulsory, Mathematics or Biology additional, minimum 45% (40% for SC/ST), CUET UG 2026.

Seat Distribution: Government and government-aided colleges: 100% seats through UPTAC. Private colleges: 85% through UPTAC, 15% Management/NRI quota at institute level. Vertical reservation (SC 21%, ST 2%, OBC 27%, EWS 10%) and horizontal sub-categories (Female 20%, Defence 5%, Divyangjan 5%) apply to B.Pharma seats.
Documents and Registration Process
Registration for UPTAC B.Pharma 2026 has the same registration process as all other courses. Create a login ID at https://uptac.samarth.edu.in, complete the required APAAR ID verification using DigiLocker, fill up all personal & academic details, upload all required documents and pay the registration fee of 1,000. While entering CUET UG 2026 score, all required data would be fetched through the Application Number using the portal.
Documents at the time of registration – CUET UG 2026 scorecard, 12th marksheet (clearly indicating Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology subjects) domicile certificate (if applicable) category certificates (OBC issues on or after 01.04.2026) medical fitness certificate. At physical reporting (14–16 July 2026 for regular rounds), all originals must be produced with self-attested copies.
B.Pharma and Pharm D have separate seat matrices, select the correct course during choice filling. Filling choices for both is only advisable if genuinely willing to accept either programme.
