Directorate of Medical Education, MP, carries out the process of registration on the official website dme.mponline.gov.in. The registration process is entirely online. There is no offline registration. Once registered and paid, you can edit your details through the “Edit Registration Form” option but only within the registration end date. After that window closes, no changes are accepted.
Who Can Register for MP NEET Counselling 2026?
Make sure that you fulfill the basic eligibility criteria before registering yourself:
- You have got qualified NEET UG 2026 in the requisite percentile set by NMC (for MBBS) or DCI (for BDS)
- You belong to the domicile of MP, necessary only for state quota seats of Round 1

Step-by-Step MP NEET Counselling 2026 Registration Process
Step 1 – Visit the Official Portal
Go to dme.mponline.gov.in. On the homepage, click on “Under Graduate Counselling (MBBS/BDS)”. This takes you to the MP State Combined UG Counselling 2026 page.
Step 2 – Create Your Profile
On the right side of the page, you’ll see the “Candidate Corner” login box and above it a “Create Profile” button. Click on Create Profile if you are a new candidate.
You’ll be asked to enter:
- NEET UG 2026 Roll Number
- Date of Birth (DD/MM/YYYY format)
- Secret Key – this is a 16-digit number formed by combining your NEET Application Number + 0 + your NEET Score
- Example: If NEET Application No. = 2322123456890 and NEET Score = 358, then Secret Key = 23221234568900358
- Captcha
After filling these, click “Create Profile”. Your basic NEET details — name, father’s name, mother’s name, rank, score, percentile will auto-populate from the NTA database.
Step 3 – Fill Contact and Bank Details
This is a very important step. Fill carefully:
Contact Details:
- Primary Mobile Number – use a number you will actively use throughout counselling. OTPs and SMS alerts will come here.
- Alternate Mobile Number
- Email ID and Confirm Email ID
- Photo ID proof type (PAN Card, Driving License, Passport, etc. — NOT Aadhar for this field)
- Photo ID proof number
- Correspondence Address
Bank Account Details:
- Account Number (enter twice for confirmation)
- Account Holder Name
- IFSC Code (enter twice)
- Bank Name and Branch Name
Important rules for bank account:
- Must be a savings or current account
- Should be active with no limit on maximum balance/credit
- Cannot be a minor’s savings account
- Must be KYC compliant
- Should belong to the candidate or their parent/guardian
- Kiosk/Cybercafe operators must not enter their own account details
Click “Proceed” after double-checking all entries.
Step 4 – OTP Verification and Password Creation
An OTP is sent to your registered mobile number. Enter it on screen. Then:
- Create a New Password following the instructions:
- Minimum 8 characters, maximum 15
- At least 1 numeric character
- At least 1 lowercase and 1 uppercase letter
- At least 1 special character
Confirm the password and click “Validate and Save”.
A success message appears: “You have created your profile successfully. Now proceed for Registration to participate in DME UG 2026 Counselling.”

Step 5 – Fill the Registration Form
From your dashboard, click “Registration Form” in the left sidebar or Important Links section. The registration form opens with your basic NEET details already filled in. You need to fill the remaining sections:
NRI Detail: Select Yes or No for NRI Quota. If Yes, fill in the relevant NRI details.
Domicile Details:
- Are you domicile of MP? – Select Yes
- Reference Number of Domicile Certificate
- Date of Issue (DD/MM/YYYY)
- Place of issuing office
- Designation of issuing officer (e.g., Sub Divisional Magistrate, Tehsildar)
Category Details:
- Select your category in MP State: UR, EWS, OBC, SC, or ST
- Note: EWS quota is only in Government Colleges. OBC candidates in the creamy layer are not eligible for OBC reservation.
- Reference No. of category certificate, date of issue, place of issue, designation of issuing officer
Class Details (only one class benefit allowed):
- PWD (Person With Disability): Select Yes/No as per NMC criteria
- Freedom Fighter Details: Select Yes/No
- Sainik Details: Select Yes/No (Army/Navy/Air Force)
- Students of MP Government Schools: Select Yes/No – for the 5% reservation benefit added via the 2023 amendment
Qualifying Exam Detail (10+2):
- Subject Group: Physics/Chemistry/Biology
- Pass/Fail status for each subject: English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology/BioTechnology
Read the Declaration carefully. Tick the checkbox and click “Save Data”.
Step 6 – Upload Documents (Enclosures)
The enclosures section lists all required documents. Upload each as a PDF file (under 200 KB):
- NEET Admit Card / NEET UG 2026 Registration Slip
- Class 10th Marksheet
- Class 12th Marksheet
- Affidavit of not being domicile of any other state
- MP Domicile Certificate
- EWS Certificate (for financial year 2025-26, issued by competent authority of MP) – if applicable

Step 7 – Review and Proceed to Payment
After saving enclosures, a complete summary of your registration form appears on screen. Review everything carefully, all your personal details, domicile details, category details, bank details, and uploaded documents.
The Counselling Fee (Rs.1,000 for all candidates) is shown at the bottom.
If everything looks correct, click “Proceed to Payment for Registration”. If you spot an error, click “Back to Registration Form” and correct it.

- UPI – PayGov India or HDFC CCAvenue; nil charges for UPI
After successful payment, the Registration Receipt is generated with your transaction ID, payment date, all your filled details, and a QR code. Download and print this receipt, you’ll need it at the time of document verification at the allotted college.
