Bihar UGEAC Counselling Fees 2026 – Full Details

Bihar UGEAC Counselling Fees 2026 is something every candidate needs to understand clearly before the registration window opens. There are many candidates that either do not pay their fees by the closing date or are left confused about an unsuccessful transaction.

This article will comprehensively outline the entire fee structure for UGEAC 2026 from the counselling registration fee to the annual tuition fee for each of the colleges that participate.

Types of Fees in Bihar UGEAC 2026

There are 2 category types that fees fall under in the UGEAC process:

  • The Counselling Registration Fee: this amount is paid when registering online (through BCECEB Portal).
  • Annual Academic Fee: paid directly to the allotted college after seat confirmation. This varies by institution.

Both are important to understand separately. Missing the counselling fee means your registration is rejected. Missing the academic fee deadline at the college means your admission is cancelled.

Bihar UGEAC 2026 Counselling Registration Fee

The counselling fee is collected by BCECEB at the time of registration. It covers the cost of processing your application and participating in the counselling process.

  • You do not get a seat in any counselling round
  • After registration you wish to no longer participate in counseling
  • After making your payment you withdraw your application

After clicking “Final Submit and Proceed to Payment” in your application form, you will be directed to the payment gateway. Follow the instructions on screen to complete the transaction.

What to Do If Your Payment Fails

This is one of the most common problems during UGEAC registration, and it causes unnecessary panic. Here is exactly what to do:

If the payment amount is deducted from your bank account but the transaction status shows as failed or pending on the BCECEB portal, do not wait for it to be resolved automatically.

Pay again immediately. Make a fresh payment through the same or a different payment mode. Your original failed deduction will be refunded to your bank account in due course, but there is no fixed timeline for that refund.

Why this matters: Your application form is only treated as complete when the counselling fee reflects successfully in BCECEB’s account before the closing deadline. If the fee does not show up in time, your form will be rejected, even if money was deducted from your account.

If your fee deadline is the same day and your payment has failed, do not waste time waiting. Re-pay right away.

How to Track Your Payment Status

After payment, log in to your BCECEB account and check the application status. A successful payment will reflect in your dashboard and your form status will show as submitted. If it still shows as incomplete after 30 to 60 minutes, re-pay immediately.

Annual Academic Fee Structure

Following the seat allocation as well as documentation verification, you are now ready to pay your first-year academic fee directly to your assigned college, in addition to paying for the seat allocation fee prior.

Government Engineering Colleges

Academic fees vary based on the type of institution. Government engineering colleges in Bihar generally have lower fees compared to private colleges.

Private colleges participating under UGEAC 2026 have their own fee structures approved by the Fee Fixation Committee of Bihar. These are higher than government college fees. Check each private college’s specific fee before filling it as a choice during counselling.
