Rajasthan NEET PG Counselling 2026 is the state-level admission process for MD/MS, Post MBBS Diploma and Post MBBS DNB seats, based on NEET PG 2026 scores. NEET PG Admission/Counselling Board 2026, constituted by the Government of Rajasthan, conducts it. A Chairman at SMS Medical College, Jaipur, heads the board.
The state counselling covers government colleges, government society (RAJMES) colleges, RUHS College of Medical Sciences and all private medical colleges of Rajasthan. In government, government society and RUHS CMS colleges, 50% of the seats go to the All India Quota (AIQ), which MCC fills. The remaining 50% State Quota seats of these colleges, along with all seats of private colleges, are allotted through the Rajasthan counselling. MCC does not conduct the Rajasthan counselling. The state board only allots seats based on merit, choices and the reservation roster.
Counselling has four online rounds including Round 1, Round 2, Round 3 and the Stray Vacancy Round. Round 1 is a free exit round, and upgrade is available up to Round 3. Post MBBS Diploma and DNB seats are only for regular in-service candidates of the Government of Rajasthan.
Round 1 is now in the final stage. Registration, security deposit and choice filling are over. The allotment list was scheduled for 2 November 2026. Printing of allotment letters, tuition fee deposit and reporting are scheduled from 3 to 6 November 2026. The academic session starts on 20 November 2026.

All India Quota (AIQ)
- 50% of seats in government colleges, government society colleges and RUHS CMS go to the AIQ.
- MCC conducts the counselling for these seats.

- All seats in private medical colleges are allotted through the Rajasthan counselling.
- Government colleges list Government seats. Government society colleges and RUHS CMS list both Government and Management seats.
- Private colleges list State, AI and Management seats.
- The type of seat in the seat matrix is the responsibility of the concerned college, not the counselling board.
- A separate NRI or minority quota is not listed for this counselling.

Round-Wise Rules
- Round 1: If you do not join, your security amount is not forfeited, and you stay eligible for further rounds.
- Round 2: Round 1 joined candidates can upgrade by filling fresh choices. If upgraded, the earlier seat is vacated. A Round 1 joined candidate who is not upgraded can resign within 2 days of the Round 2 result without forfeiture. After that, the candidate counts as joined in Round 2. Not joining a Round 2 seat (fresh or upgraded) forfeits the security amount. Such a candidate must re-register and deposit the security again to continue.
- Round 3: Upgrade is available again with fresh choices. Not joining a Round 3 seat forfeits the security amount, and the candidate cannot take part in the Stray Vacancy Round. A candidate who joins in Round 3 can neither upgrade nor resign. Candidates who join through MCC in Round 3, or any other counselling, are removed from state Round 3 and the Stray Vacancy Round. Centre and states share joining data.
- Stray Vacancy Round: Only candidates who got no seat up to Round 3 in state and MCC counselling can take part. Round 1 free exit candidates who got no seat later can also take part. They must get documents verified and submit originals and a bond. Not joining a stray round seat forfeits the security and debars the candidate from further state rounds.

After the course, the candidate must serve the Government of Rajasthan for two years. The service can be on a Senior Residency seat, or as Assistant Professor, Junior Specialist or Medical Officer, as the Government requires. The service bond amount depends on the subject.

- If you do not complete the service, you and your surety are jointly liable to pay the bond amount with interest at government rates. The amount can be recovered as arrears of land revenue.
- In-service candidates give a bond as per government orders.
Surety Bond (Government Colleges)
- Joined candidates of Rounds 1, 2 and 3 may need to submit a surety bond if the college requires it.
- It is an undertaking not to leave the course midway and to pay the fees for the remaining period if you do.
