Uttarakhand NEET PG Counselling 2026 is the centralised admission process for MD, MS, PG Diploma and DNB seats in the state, based on the NEET PG 2026 merit. Uttarakhand State Centralised Counselling Board by Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Uttarakhand Medical Education University (HNBUMU), Dehradun, conducts it online at www.hnbumu.ac.in.
HNBUMU fills State Quota seats in government medical colleges and both State Quota and All India Open Quota seats in the private medical colleges of private universities. It also conducts Post MBBS Diploma and DNB seats reserved for in-service PMHS medical officers.
Registration for Round 1 is open until 27/10/2026, 5.00 pm. NRI quota registration has closed, and the NRI merit list is released on 26/10/2026.

Important conditions:
- Candidates must register with the Uttarakhand State Medical Council within two months of joining the PG course.
- A candidate already studying in any PG medical course in Uttarakhand is not eligible until the course is completed and the exam is passed.
- In-service seats are only for regular PMHS Uttarakhand medical officers. They need an NOC from the Director General, Medical Health & Family Welfare.
- Wrong information at any stage disqualifies a candidate. The candidate is not allowed to appear in PG counselling in future.

HNBUMU runs counselling online in rounds. Fresh choices are filled in each round. Candidates fill fresh choices in every round, and seats are allotted on NEET PG 2026 merit and preference. The steps below apply to each round.
- Qualify NEET PG 2026 and check that you meet the eligibility conditions.
- Register on the counselling portal and pay the registration fee online.
- Upload clear scanned copies of all required documents.
- Check the Provisional State Merit List on the official website.
- Fill your choices in order of preference and eligibility, then lock them before the window closes.
- Wait for data processing. The Board allots seats on merit, choices, category and seat availability.
- Check the result on the official website.
- Select the Freeze or Float option for the allotted seat.
- Complete document verification and admission formalities within the joining period.
- Take part in the next round, if you are eligible.

Registration is online only on the counselling portal of HNBUMU. Candidates are advised to upload documents within 2 to 3 days of registering.
- Visit www.hnbumu.ac.in and open the NEET PG 2026 counselling link.
- Register on the portal and create your account.
- Enter NEET PG 2026 roll number, rank and score details.
- Fill in personal and category details.
- Fill in academic details, internship and medical registration details.
- Upload clear scanned copies of all documents.
- Pay the Rs. 8,000 fee by credit card, debit card or net banking.
- Review the form and submit it.
- Save and print the confirmation for reference.
Only registered candidates can take part in Round 1. The registration fee is valid for two rounds only. New or fresh registration for Round 2 may be allowed, and details will be notified separately.

- NRI candidates originally from Uttarakhand.

Only NEET PG 2026 qualified candidates can apply. Admitted NRI candidates must sign a service bond for 3 years of service in remote or hilly areas of Uttarakhand.
Documents for eligibility: Foreign passport, Green Card, Permanent Resident Card or proof of residency issued by a competent authority, or an OCI/PIO card. The college verifies these at the time of admission.

- Round 1 is a Free Exit round. If a candidate does not join the seat allotted in Round 1, there is no forfeiture of the security deposit.
- After admission, a candidate who wants to leave must inform the Board through the Principal. If the Board permits, the fees are refunded after deducting Rs. 6,000 as administrative charges. The college also deducts charges for services used, such as hostel and mess.

Choice filling opens after the Provisional State Merit List.
- Candidates can enter as many choices as they want.

- If you are not interested in a quota, college or course, do not select it. The Board is not responsible for mistakes made by candidates.

- If documents are in order, the seat is provisionally confirmed and the candidate stays eligible for the next round. If not, the seat is cancelled.
