Gujarat NEET PG Counselling 2026 is the online admission process for MD, MS and Diploma seats in the state for candidates who have qualified NEET PG 2026. Admission Committee for Professional Postgraduate Medical Educational Courses (ACPPGMEC), Government of Gujarat, conducts it at www.medadmgujarat.org. The Committee fills Government Quota (GQ), Management Quota (MQ) and NRI Quota (NQ) seats in government and self-financed medical colleges through a single window, merit-based process.
MCC counselling and Gujarat state counselling are two different processes. MCC handles All India Quota seats while, ACPPGMEC handles the state quota seats. Candidates who want to be considered for both sets of seats must follow both process separately.
Online registration and document verification for first-year MD/MS/Diploma has started. Online Pin purchase for online registration was started on 01 October 2026 to 08 October 2026, and help center verification closed on 09 October 2026.

Foreign medical graduates must upload a scanned copy of the NBE screening exam marksheet and verify the original at the help center. A candidate who secures admission is expected to be ineligible for another admission until the course period is over.
Gujarat NEET PG Counselling 2026 Reservation Policy
Reservation applies to candidates of Gujarat origin who belong to SC, ST and SEBC categories. Category certificates must be issued by competent authorities of Gujarat State only. Migrants from other states cannot claim these seats.

The reservation applies to both Institutional Preference seats and All Gujarat Quota seats. Seats are allotted through a state-level roster system for SC, ST, SEBC, Open and PwD categories.
Important rules for reserved category candidates
- A candidate who fails to submit the required certificates in time is considered under the unreserved category.
- A reserved category candidate who gets a seat on open merit may be given the unreserved seat as per preference, if it ranks higher in the candidate’s choice order than the reserved seat.
- A reserved seat is valid only after the caste certificate is verified by the issuing authority. An invalid certificate cancels the claim and any admission already given.
- Reserved seats that remain vacant after all merit list candidates are admitted move to the unreserved category.
Important Rule for PwD candidates
Only a certificate from the Medical Board of ACPUGMEC is accepted. Candidates must appear before the Board for disability assessment. For loco-motor disability, the state rules expect eligibility for lower limb disability of 50% to 70% with normal upper limbs, with second preference to 40% to less than 50% if seats remain vacant.
Gujarat NEET PG Counselling 2026 Counselling Process
The counselling has six major stages and most steps are online. Candidates visit a help center twice, first to confirm registration and again to confirm admission.
- Qualify NEET PG 2026.
- Buy the PIN online from www.medadmgujarat.org.
- Complete online registration and upload documents.
- Generate a password, confirm the details and print the Registration Details.
- Visit the help center on the booked date to verify originals and collect the Registration Slip.
- ACPPGMEC prepares and publishes the merit list.
- Fill and lock course and college choices online.
- ACPPGMEC processes allotment and publishes results on the website.
- Pay the tuition fee within the time limit.
- Submit original documents at the help center to confirm admission.
The state rules expect two rounds of online counselling. After these, a manual round is expected to fill seats that are still vacant. Stray vacancies are filled from the merit list in order.
Gujarat NEET PG Counselling 2026 Registration Process
Registration is done by the candidate on the official portal. It is followed by document verification at a help center.
- Visit www.medadmgujarat.org.
- Click “PG MD/MS/DIPLOMA” under “Post Graduate Admission”.
- Click the login button for Post-Graduate Medical Admission and choose “Buy PIN”.
- Enter the NEET PG roll number, name, email, mobile number and the amount, then pay Rs.28,000 online. Use a mobile number that is not registered for DND, as SMS alerts may not arrive otherwise.
- Select “Candidate Registration/Login” and click “Click here for New Registration”.
- Enter the PIN serial number, 14-digit PIN, email, mobile number, NEET roll number and captcha, then submit.
- Fill in the Online Registration Form with NEET PG details, personal details and MBBS details. The PIN serial number becomes the User ID.
- Answer the questions on in-service, NRI quota, PwD and previous admission status.
- Create a password of 6 to 12 alphanumeric characters and confirm it.
- Select “I Agree”, submit and enter the OTP sent to the registered mobile number.
- Use “Edit/Confirm Application” to fix any errors, then click “Confirm Registration Details”. After confirmation, changes can be made only at the help center before verification.
- Upload documents in PDF, JPG, JPEG or PNG format.
- Book an appointment by selecting the help center and date.
- Print the Registration Details. The candidate and a parent or guardian must both sign it.
- Attach self-attested copies of all documents and visit the help center on the appointment date.
The officer at the help center verifies the originals, keeps the Registration Slip and the document set, and issues a Registration Slip with signature and seal. A candidate without this slip is not eligible for the next stages.

Choice filling opens online after the merit list is declared and is held for each round. Candidates indicate their order of preference for courses and colleges. Allotment is made on merit, category and seat availability. Candidates can prepare in advance with the steps below.
- Study the seat matrix once it is published.
- List the courses and colleges you would accept, in order of preference.
- Add enough choices, so that a seat is not missed for want of options.
- Place a course you prefer higher than a college you prefer, if that matters more to you.
- Check the fee of each college before locking, as consent for private colleges and their fees is taken during the process.
Candidates should save a copy of their final choices after locking.
Gujarat NEET PG Counselling 2026 Admission Process
Candidates check the allotment status by logging in with their User ID. Admission is confirmed only after tuition fee payment and original document submission.
- Log in and check the allotment status.
- Print the allotment letter and the bank fee receipt from the website.
- Pay the tuition fee at a designated Axis Bank branch by cash or demand draft, or online, within the time limit.
- Submit original documents at the help center.
- Submit the physical fitness certificate to the Dean or Principal at the time of joining.

Seat Accept, Resign & Upgrade
- If you want to accept the seat. Pay the fee and submit the documents before the deadline.
- If you want to try for a better seat. The state rules expect a readjustment (reshuffling) process when many seats fall vacant. A candidate who opts in can upgrade existing choices or submit new ones. A new seat cancels the earlier admission. The earlier seat cannot be offered again in that process.
- If you do not pay the fee on time. The allotted admission is treated as cancelled. The candidate is expected to be ineligible for the same course in the same institute in later rounds.
- If you want to withdraw. A written request is made to the Admission Committee before admission is completed, or to the college after admission is completed.
The final rules for upgrade, free exit and later rounds will be confirmed with the schedule.
Gujarat NEET PG Counselling 2026 Fee Payment and Refund Rules
Fees for government, management and NRI seats are fixed by the Fee Regulatory Committee. The refund rules are given below.

- Fake documents: If any certificate or information is found incorrect or false during verification, the candidature is cancelled for that year. The candidate is expected to be disqualified for the next two years.

NRI candidates register online like other candidates. Verification and submission happen only at the Office of ACPUGMEC/ACPPGMEC, GMERS Medical College, Gandhinagar. NRI seat admission is based on the NEET PG 2026 All India Rank among candidates who apply for NRI seats.
