About NEET

National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test(NEET) is an entrance exam for admissions into medical(MBBS) and dental courses(BDS) in private and government medical colleges across India. NEET is conducted by CBSE board. It aims to provide uniformity to various medical courses as well as provide hassle free admission process. ). NEET has replaced the AIPMT (All India Pre Medical Test) and all other individual MBBS exams organized by states or colleges themselves.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE

There are 4 Simple steps to Apply Online:

1) Fill the Online Application Form and note down the Registration Number

2) Upload photo, signature, and Right Hand Index Finger Impression*

3) Make Payment of Fee through Credit/Debit Card, Net banking or by e-challan

4) Print Confirmation Page after Successful remittance of fee.

The examination would be conducted in the first week of May 2017. Below we have mentioned the NEET 2017 exam pattern:

NEET 2017 Seat Quota Exam

Seat Reservation is offered to candidates applying for the 15% All India Quota Seats. Different percentage of seats is given to various categories such as Schedule Caste, Schedule Tribe, OBC and Physically Handicapped. Candidates can apply for admission through their respective category provided they meet the required criteria.

Applicants applying under the Physically Handicapped Category will have to produce their Disability Certificate from one of the disability assessment boards available at the four metro cities listed below:

NEET 2017 Admit Card

The Admit cards would be provided via online mode only through the official website i.e. nbe.edu.in. The admit cards for NEET 2017 would be available to download tentatively in the first week of April 2017. You need to note that the admit cards would not be sent by post. Admit cards would contain details like exam centre, exam date, name and roll number of the candidates.

IMPORTANT DOCUMENTS

The candidates appearing for allotment by personal appearance should bring the following documents in original along with an attested copy of the documents for verification failing which they shall not be allowed to participate in the allotment process :-

(i) Admit Cards of Preliminary & Final Exam issued by CBSE.

(ii) Rank letter issued by CBSE.

(iii) Date of Birth Certificate.

(iv) Metric Certificate

(v) 10+2 Certificate

(vi) 10+2 Marks Sheet

(vii) 2 Passport size photograph same as affixed on the application form

NEET 2017 Counselling

15% All India Quota counselling would be organized by the DGHS (Directorate General of Health Services). Admissions for candidates would be given as per the ranks secured by them in the entrance examination. The NEET 2017 counselling for state quote, central universities and institutions and many other would be conducted by their respective counselling authorities. In the counselling process, candidates would need to select the colleges as per their choices. Seats would be allotted to candidates as per the selections made by them and seats availability.
