Note for Marking Scheme for UPSEE 2020

  • There will be 4 marks awarded for every correct answer.
  • There will be no negative marking for incorrect answers.
  • OMR Sheet would be used for the exam as it is a pen-paper based exam.

UPSEE 2020 Eligibility Criteria

  • Age Limit: There is no age limit for candidates sitting in UPSEE
  • Educational Qualification:
    • Candidates who have successfully passed out their 12th standard or Senior Secondary exams are eligible to apply. Students who going to give their class 12th examination are also eligible to apply.
    • Candidates must have secured at least 45% marks in their class 12th examination.
  • Number of Attempts: Candidate can make many attempts in the exam. As there is no limit for making attempts.
  • Compulsory Subjects: Candidates have to clear their qualifying exam i.e. their Senior Secondary (12th) examination or its equivalent with the following subject combination:

Steps to follow for filling up theUPSEE 2020 Application form

  • Candidate must visit the official website of UPSEE i.e. www.upsee.nic.in and register themselves online.
  • Note down the application number and ID and password provided to the candidate on their valid mobile number.

Dr A.P.J. Freeze, Float and Withdrawal Terminology

Freeze:

The name itself suggests that the candidates who are satisfied with the colleges that they got as per their ranks can freeze the college/institute and they will get the admission by going through the counselling session.

Note for Marking Scheme for UPSEE 2020

  • There will be 4 marks awarded for every correct answer.
  • There will be no negative marking for incorrect answers.
  • OMR Sheet would be used for the exam as it is a pen-paper based exam.

UPSEE 2020 Eligibility Criteria

  • Age Limit: There is no age limit for candidates sitting in UPSEE
  • Educational Qualification:
    • Candidates who have successfully passed out their 12th standard or Senior Secondary exams are eligible to apply. Students who going to give their class 12th examination are also eligible to apply.
    • Candidates must have secured at least 45% marks in their class 12th examination.
  • Number of Attempts: Candidate can make many attempts in the exam. As there is no limit for making attempts.
  • Compulsory Subjects: Candidates have to clear their qualifying exam i.e. their Senior Secondary (12th) examination or its equivalent with the following subject combination:

Steps to follow for filling up theUPSEE 2020 Application form

  • Candidate must visit the official website of UPSEE i.e. www.upsee.nic.in and register themselves online.
  • Note down the application number and ID and password provided to the candidate on their valid mobile number.
  • Log in to the website with the credentials provided.
  •  Fill the application form and fill the details asked in the form.
  • Upload the photograph and signatures with the correct file size asked in the format.
  • Payment could be made only via online mode.
  • Take the print out of the application form for the acknowledgement and future references.

For SC/ST/PWD/Female Category the fee is Rs. 650

UPSEE 2020 Counselling

Dr A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University is the body which conducts the counselling process in three different counselling rounds and two spot counselling to fill up the vacant seat in institutions accepting UPSEE Rank. Before going for the counselling process candidates must have to visit the official website of Dr A.P.J. Freeze, Float and Withdrawal Terminology

Freeze:

The name itself suggests that the candidates who are satisfied with the colleges that they got as per their ranks can freeze the college/institute and they will get the admission by going through the counselling session.

Float: Any up gradation in the college or in the course is expected by the

Withdrawal:  Candidates who are not satisfied by the college that they get as per their ranks and doesn’t want to go to the further rounds of counselling choose the option of withdrawal.

Spot Counselling

After the completion of the three online rounds of counselling the candidates who were not allotted any seats were allowed to enter at this point of time where two rounds are conducted to fill the vacant seats of the institution.
