Joint Seat Allocation Authority(JoSAA) 2017

The candidates who are seeking admission in the  most prestigious colleges of India i.e.ISM Dhanbad & IITS have to pass the eligibility criteria which is provided by the JoSAA. Every candidate need to fulfill the criterion which is laid down in the business rules to apply for JoSSA. 

The JoSSA 2017 eligibility criteria are:

For academic programmes at ISM and IITs:

The candidate who willing for the admission in the academic programmes, excluding the preparatory courses at ISM and IITs ,must have qualified in JEE 2017 ( Advanced ). The candidate must also satisfy the criteria performance in class XII or equivalent examination.

For preparatory programmes at ISM and IITs:

The candidate who willing for the admission in the preparatory programmes, at ISM and IITs, must have qualified in JEE 2017 (Advanced). The candidate must also satisfy the criteria performance in class XII or equivalent examination.

For NITs, IIITs and GFTIs:

1.For the admission into NIITs, IIITs& GFTIs, the candidate must secure a rank in JEE 2017 (Main) paper 1 (B.Tech/B.A ) and 45% aggregate marks must also be obtained  by the candidate  in class XII or equivalent examination (general ) and 40% in (OBC-NCL,SC,ST).

In the following subjects, marks obtained will be calculated for aggregate marks:

·         Physics

·         Anyone language

·         mathematics

·         One of these from ( chemistry, biotechnology, biology or technical vocational subject)

·         any other fifth subject

2. A rank in JEE 2017 (main) paper 2 (B.Planning/B.Arch.) must be secured by the candidate and maths should be one of the subjects in class +2. About 50% aggregate marks should be obtained by the candidate (irrespective of their belongingness to any of the categories - GEN, OBC-NCL, SC, ST or PwD category) in five subjects including math.
